A wonderful collection that not only raises money for people who still, 18 months on (as I write this), need all the help they can get, but is a great read. From short stories to poems, novel extracts to haiku, there's something for everyone here whether they are Japanophiles or not.

A fantastic kaleidoscope of writing talent welded together under the sign of the rising sun, celebrating Japan and keeping the memory alive of the terrible disasters that befell the country in March 2011, led by celebrated Austrian poet Friederike Mayröcker (and including my 'Gyoza Express'). I much enjoyed participating in this project and I wish it and all involved great success!

This collection is not only wonderful in its contents - a selection of outstanding art, photos, stories, haikus etc. - but also in its purpose - helping the people of Japan who were hit by the catastrophic earthquake and tsunami in March 2011. The book is worth reading for both reasons.
