I received this last night and have had it on my Kindle Fire since. This is clearly a very well made case for the Fire.

Pros:
- The outside fabric is very nicely applied and appears very strong.
- The space to add a photo is a nice touch.
- The suede on the inside is very soft to the touch and quite attractive.
- The leather surround for the Fire is also nicely made...well-stitched and sturdy.
- The Fire fit in the slot quite snugly, but not so much so to make it overly difficult to remove.
- The magnetic flap holds pretty well. I had no problems securing my Fire.

Cons:
- Magnetic flap can get in the way when you put the case in portrait mode.
- For my taste, the portrait mode was not upright enough, but that's just me.

Overall, a beautiful case that is also amazingly functional. The quality of the materials is excellent and it does an excellent job of protecting your investment in a Kindle Fire.

Really beginning to love this company's products.

EDIT: One more thing to add: At $29.99, this is a steal. I have seen far lesser quality cases for more money.

This is the 2nd case that I've tried on my Kindle Fire and it is a winner. The case is well made, the quality of the build is apparent in both the look and feel of the item.

The Kindle itself fits very snugly in the provided space, but was not a struggle to get it in the leather frame. And it leaves easy access to the few external buttons that the Fire has.

The 3 leather strips that serve as a "kickstand" for holding the Fire open while sitting on a surface are nicely spaced and surprisingly stable. In fact, I tend to fall asleep a night watching videos with the fire on a pillow next to me, no problems at all. Ok, it's a bit weird, there's a 32" HDTV in the bedroom, but it bothers my wife if I fall asleep watching it, but the Fire doesn't :-)

The brocade finish on the outside serves its purpose well in that it provides a no-slip surface while holding on to it. On the other hand, it is my only complaint in that I do not find a somewhat shiny brocade finish very manly. I do have another case, from another company, that is a very manly black. However, this one works so much better, I'm going to live with the finish. It does have a space for a 5"x7" photo, in which I have placed a manly photo of a bikini clad girl on a Harley, thus saving my manhood somewhat.

I would not hesitate to recommend this case to anyone.

On a scale of 1-5, I would rate it a 5.

Likes:

*It far exceeded my expectations as far as quality for the price paid
*The material is a nice neutral color and the photo cover is a fun addition
*The inside suede material is exceptionally nice looking and comfortable when I hold it in my hand
*The magnetic latch is strong and study and does not interfere with my Kindle Fire
*I love that I can still access the power button is exposed in the case -- that keeps me from having to take it out to power it on.
*I love that I can charge it while my Kindle Fire is still inside the case
*The most handy feature is that the case rotates and stands up. This alone is worth the purchase.
*Shipping was exceptionally fast and the free gift (another case) was a much appreciated bonus!

Dislikes:
*I would have preferred a solid on the outside of the case instead of a pattern but it is such a minor point the positives far outweigh this feature. I still love it and give it a perfect 5 score. However, I would suggest you offer this in solid neutral colors as well in the future.

The New Trent IMP78B is a decorative leather Kindle Fire case that holds your Kindle Fire tablet snugly and allows it to stand in 3 positions horizontally. It also features a photo frame in the front which allows you to slide any photo or compilation of photo's that fit in an approximate 5" x 7" frame (some trimming may be required to make it fit exactly. This adds a bit of customization that lets you change the picture on the cover of the case.

The case is solid, has a nice soft texture and feels good in the hands, this case removed the velcro strap that tucked behind the Kindle Fire which makes it easier to get the Kindle Fire out of the case when needed. The stand works much better with the Kindle snugly fitting in stand mode and not prone to slipping or falling over like it can with other cases. This isn't a swivel case so you don't get to stand the Kindle Fire up in portrait mode, only landscape mode however.

The case cover closes via a magnetic strap which holds the Kindle Fire case closed which is a great improvement, the only minor nuisance is when the Kindle Fire case is in horizontal stand mode, the strap tends to stick up or get in the way a little bit, it doesn't tuck or fold neatly out of the way kind of dangling like a tongue.

One nice touch would have been some sort of elastic strap on the binder that could hold a stylus so you can easily fit and snugly secure a stylus pen to the case, but this is just a feature request.

Overall, this case has a great feel and the ability to personalize by sliding in any photo or picture you want to customize the front of the case is something unique and well worth getting.
