P39..outside La Cote Basque...looks like Central Park to me.
P47..seeing I am curious Yellow...Should be 1969 not 1967.
P48...Should be arriving at JFK airport.
P56,57,64,67,69...Not even in New York. All photos taken in Paris. That is evident by the street signs in French and the multitude of Citroens and Renaults everywhere.
P81...Should be talking to Steve Smith and William Walton...not Stephanie Boudin.
P105..photo was taken in 1975 at first press conference for Grand Central Station not in 1978.
P112 ..photo with Pete Hamil is from 1977 not 1979.
P126-129...photos from Martha Vineyard...last time I looked Martha's Vineyard was not even in the state of New York.
P136...photo with Granddaughter Rose....it is also with granddaughter Tatiana.
P138...Granddaughter wrongly identified as Rose..it should be Tatiana.
Apart from that I also agree with what a previous reviewer stated. The 80-90's is covered off in just 20 pages and more should have been devoted to this period. Then there is the foreword by Nan A. Talese where she mentions that in New York most people respected her privacy, except for certain photographers...It seems hypocritical to have this comment then have the front cover and 15 pages credited to the photographer that Mrs Onassis had the most problems with. In addition to that we have seen these photos over and over again in book after book. They could have tried to use a few less frequently published photos...and lastly did we really need 6 pages devoted to the publication of her first book...Again these photos have been widely used and it wasn't necessary to devote so many pages to these photo's or this subject.
Okay...Rant over. As I say, a nice little book but with a good editor , or photo editor it could have been so much better
The pictures in the book brought back a lot of memories, some brought tears to my eyes. God rest her. Everything she did was for Caroline and John Jr. Wow what a Lady, what a person and what a WONDERFUL MOTHER...
