I bought this because I needed a good bronzer and really didn't want to spend loads of money ($10+)
The pros are: -It does transfer a good amount of color when you apply it. You can also build up your intensity. I doubt this would be dark enough for darker skin tones, in the range of NC45. I'm just using my skintone as reference though. -its compact, travel friendly -it has a mirror so that you don't have to use too many different compacts. -Its not shimmery, more of a matte formula. I think that's how bronzers and contours should be, but again just my opinion. - You can use this to contour but also for a transition crease color on the eyelids. Looks a lot more natural when your contour and crease colors match.
Cons: -it has a cheap applicator (soft insert), so a better brush is a must. Preferably natural hair and not synthetic. -it looks like it could break easily, Frail. -its dry. I mean as in the a-bit chalky. Not like the MAC bronzers which feel silky and fine. - (UPDATE: I have hit pan and let me try and explain something. The actual product is not laying flat on the metal pan, its lifted. This goes with my thoughts on your fragility. It feels like it would break easily because it is not attached to the bottom. Its like its floating. I don't know how to describe what Im talking about, so hopefully I will be able to get a picture up soon)
All and all, I would recommend this inexpensive bronzer. It does the job at bronzing and lightly contouring my face. For reference in MAC terms; In the winter, I am NC20 and summer, I am NC30. Revlon shades are Golden beige and nude. Urban Decay foundation is 5.0. Its safe to say that I am in the light-medium skin tone coloring. Hope this helps someone.
I've searched high and low for a bronzer with no sparkle and that doesn't cost a small fortune, This is it, the color is perfect, I am an avid tanner in the summer, but always cover my face,(don't want the premature ageing there of all places! ) so I needed a product that would look natural. It seems like every bronzer on the market has tons of mica and when applied sparkles, that might be fine for my teenage daughters, but looks horrible on mature skin. I use my own kabuki brush and apply under my cheekbones, across my forehead and under my jawline, which not only gives my face color, but also definition. This is defintely worth trying, I love it and would hightly recommend.
