5/7/2013 - This wine fridge was visually appealing, dual zone, and held a good amount of bottles that I was looking for it to hold, so I purchased it in 04/2012. After 5 months, the left side temperature started reading "99", even though it was set for 57. I contacted the vendor, Air and Water, and they said it would cost me $150 to ship the fridge round trip to them for diagnostics, at an additional cost. I used a thermometer to see what the internal temp actually was and it read 57. So I decided I was not going to spend another $150+ on top of the $500 purchase price I had already spent on this 5 month old fridge.
Fast forward to 05/2013...the device has completely died after 13 months. Again, Air and Water generously offered me the following option: Ship the device to the west coast ($150), pay a diagnostic fee ($50), once they figure out the issue on this 13 month old fridge, they'll let me know the cost to fix it. At the end of the day this fridge will have cost me double if I send it back to them, which I won't.
Save your money, read the reviews, stay away from this company...At the end of the day it seems every other one of their devices are defective in some way or another.
