This is the review after almost 6 months of use..the noodles comes out perfectly. But all the parts are not stainless steel. The screw in the handle and the big rotating shaft got completely rusted.. This is not what I was expecting so taking away the 4 stars.

This tool does it's job well but only for as long as it stays together and mine was damaged to the point of being unusable after a single use. The tool looks like it is durable and honestly most of the product is very durable, but the handle isn't. I'm not sure how it is connected to the rest but after a single use it disconnected, so now when i try make noodles the handle rotates around the cylinder so i cant turn the piston at all.
If you think that you want one of these for making noodles, save your money and buy a better tool for the job, this will be a waste of money.

So much easier than putting it through a pasta machine and way faster. HOWEVER, don’t throw your pasta machine away as you will need it to make lasagna noodles. This hand crank one is well made and comes with 5 die attachments, including angel hair, spaghetti, fettuccine, and elbow macaroni. By turning the handle the dough is pushed through in the selected shape. Easy to clean, too.

I'd like to respond to some of the negative reviews, because I think they're unfounded. Someone said that it left grease on their pasta - well, clean it before first use! Another said that the handle is flimsy and slides around. There is a nut and bolt that attaches the handle to the body, so if this happened to me I simply tighten it. I just grab the body myself, so it's not an issue for me anyway.

I had a fancy electric pasta extruder machine once, and the pasta it made wasn't any better than this little guy. The dough has to be the right consistency, because if too stiff it's hard to turn the handle. I think a crank would be better, but that's no big deal. It takes some effort to screw down, so be forewarned.

I roll a small ball of dough into a cylinder shape before I drop it into the tube - otherwise it would be harder to stuff. It's easy to disassemble for cleaning, which is a plus.

I like it. Yes, it really had a gross odor when it came.(wash the appliance and throw the box away...odor gone!) Yes, the box was really beat up. But the machine itself worked great! Yes, it takes some muscle to screw down on the dough to extract the noodles. However, it is a MANUAL appliance, and for under $20, It does exactly what it says it would do .I haven't tried all the sizes yet, but the one I made worked great! I'm thrilled with it! I'm buying another as a gift!

Very sturdy! I have received a recipe from a friend for Passatelli soup and didn't have a "gadget" to make the noodles. I tried a food mill but that didn't work, so I ordered this because another review mentioned the same soup. It is perfect! I have used it about 6 times now and washed it in the dishwasher each time and it still looks and works great. I have also found it will make tube pasta and spaghetti as well as noodles. Love a mulit use gadget!

Just received it. It is claimed to be stainless steel, but it is not. It is aluminum! I would feel a lot more better if it does not made of SS. Quality seems to be poor. I will give it a try and update what I feel.
