Makes me want to break things
I work from home and for 3 years Newsmax has been a part of my daily routine. It usually streams in my living room around the clock because I enjoy the background noise and it's nice to have live updates on current events throughout the day. Since their live content was placed behind a paywall on November 1st, I've had nothing but problems. I used to watch their free live stream on YouTube but now I have to stream the Newsmax+ app on my Vizio TV via my Amazon Fire Stick. Some days the app freezes constantly. Most days it just crashes and kicks me out completely. I have tried all the solutions suggested: clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, restarting the Fire Stick, checking the Fire Stick for updates, checking the app for updates, and restarting the TV, but none of these so-called "solutions" actually work. The most frustrating part is how many times I'm required to sign back into the Newsmax+ app. After doing this 6+ times, I usually have to walk away because I am overcome with the urge to start breaking things. I also do not understand why the "Who's watching?" screen has my account listed 3 times. I only have ONE account. NEWSMAX: If you are going to charge a monthly subscription fee for people to view your live content, at least make sure your app functions properly! Otherwise, your viewers (myself included) are going to get so fed up that they cancel and find a new daily news source that doesn't make them want to tear their hair out. I don't have ANY of these problems on my Roku TV. All of the other apps on my Fire Stick function just fine. Please tell your app developer to GET IT TOGETHER.
