The book takes you inside the future of world affairs - the geopolitics that'll be increasingly defined by technology (robotics, genetics engineering, etc).
Each chapter has a scenario. But, more importantly, it's how the author makes the argument with various data points is what makes the book incredibly powerful.
This book is for you if you're interested in the future of your world and that of your children and grandchildren (born and unborn).
I wont give too much away, but the use of virtual reality and a 1st person perspective really draws you in and makes you feel like you're part of the journey he's trying to create. I read a lot about world affairs, foreign policy and technology and work in the latter, but I haven't come across anything that talks about the same types of scenarios as the ones in this book. Even reports from big consulting firms on how technology could impact the future don't offer the same perspective! I definitely recommend you buy this book if you are looking for a new perspective into what the future will look like!
