If you are someone who designs shirts, makes prints for any sort of apparel line that you have started, these are the shirts you should be using. If you want your customers to buy excellent merch from you personal stores, then use this shirt for your products. Don't default to Gildan or some other cheap dozen for a $1 shirt.
im gonna add a photo.. the red line is the length of the last batch, thy come down right about wrist length which is just about perfect for me.... and you will see the yellow line which is the length of the ones i just got... i mean if i wanted to tuck the damn things in these would be perfect.. but for shirts advertised as fitted.. well they do not fit like a fitted shirt anymore.. i like shirts that fit well.. not extra long shirts..
now i will say the shirts are still made of the same very soft and comfortable material as the last ones i got, they seem to be made very well. i wear a medium size shirt and they fit just right.. besides the length on the ones i just received. i give it one start because its advertised as fitted but they are now overly long and look silly and fitted shirts are not made to be long..
For my size I prefer this t-shirt over urban outfitters and mens express t-shirts for several reasons: They are longer in length which means when I wash them they won't become overly short as my other t-shirts have become. They hug your arms nicely. They are not wide in the torso so the shirt doesn't drop off your chest looking like a loose blouse as your basic Hanes t-shirt does. On the other hand, they also don't grip your torso.
The only complaints I have is that the white t-shirt that I bought is a tiny bit see through; the colored t-shirts are not see through. Furthermore, the quality of mens express and urban outfitters t-shirts are a bit better but these are nonetheless high quality with good elasticity. All in all, I'm done paying $15-$30 per t-shirt for a shirt that doesn't fit me as well as these do for only $8-$11.
Perhaps some people don't know what "fitted" means. It means the shirt is SUPPOSED TO BE trimmer than your average shirt. Unlike the standard XL shirt, which is made to fit people who are both big and tall, I don't feel like I'm drowning in this shirt.
I'm still a fan of classic style, and I just can't get into the gaudy MMA style shirts or the faux-retro/vintage shirts that the hipsters love. This shirt looks good on its own.
The material is soft, so it also sits nicely on your body. The shirt shows off form a little bit without making it look like a muscle shirt, or that you're trying too hard. I'll definitely be buying a couple more. Above all, it's really comfortable and soft.
UPDATE: I now own at least one of each color shirt. If anyone can be called an expert on these shirts, it's probably me. One word of caution: the royal blue dye seems to be the only one that isn't going to last. Despite equal washes, it's beginning to show some very premature wear. I love these shirts, but I would avoid royal.
