When an artist can drop an album this far into their career that rivals any work out there still, you know they are doing what they love and doing it from the heart. This entire album is top quality. Fans of his earlier work with Blackalicious won't be disappointed and neither will any music fan, even if they don't like hip-hop. He continues to set the lyrical bar even higher with smooth flow, meaningful versus, and the style we all love from him. The beats fit the lyrics well and have a great production level. This is my favorite album in any genre of the year already and I don't see many being able to pass it up. Do yourself a favor and check out the whole thing, you'll thank me later. It really is rare to see this quality these days.

If you've enjoyed Blackalicious/Gift of Gab before, you should be very satisfied with this album. There seems to not be much hype about it, which is too bad, because I've been following Gift for a while now and I really think he has some of his best work on this album.

And if you HAVEN'T heard of Blackalicious or Gift of Gab, then you need to jump on the positive hip hop bandwagon! Very few emcees can claim to spit like this dude!

Gift of Gab is one of the great so-called "underground" MC's...ever. His albums always have a socially aware vibe throughout, but he now seems to focus more on personal subjects for his muse, such as "Effed Up". The production team is different from his days with Blackalicious, but the end result is still superb.

Gift of Gab is one of the best MC's still making music today.

I've listened since the 90s to Blackalicious albums, Gift of Gab albums, and everything he's done with Quannum Collective.

When I heard that a new album had come out from Gift Of Gab, I hopped online to pick it up immediately. I hadn't used amazon download before but was happy with it's performance.

Some highlights are the inclusion of other amazing bay area MC's such as Zumbi (Zion I), Rashaan Ahmad (Crown City Rockers) and fellow Quannum MC's Lateef and Lyrics Born.

Also, GEORGE CLINTON is featured on the chorus of one of the best tracks on the album. Any album with George Clinton on it is pretty much automatically Musical GOLD.

And as always on any Gift of Gab album you'll travel on a journey of desires and introspection while receiving a humbling dose of Reality.

Please support independent hip-hop, you won't regret this album.
