About the Author
Former matchmaker par excellence - or Dating Guru as the Irish media liked to call me- I was born in Germany. Having achieved a Masters Degree in English, I got married, had two children and then emigrated to Ireland with my family for the GOOD LIFE. Involuntary life on an Irish farm produced a crop of misgivings and the break-up of our marriage. Single again, I launched a dating service in Dublin which eventually planted the seeds for this novel. I'm now happily married and live in the USA. I write for American Chronicles and Opednews. I write a blog that deals with my previous life on an organic farm. It's called "I once had a farm in Ireland" and you will find it at www.Inandoutofireland.blogspot.com. I'm a proud new International member of the National League of American Pen Women:www.Americanpenwomen.org

Siggy takes us through her own trials and serious tribulations looking for that one elusive male to make her life complete. Someone who will completment, yet not smother her. Doesn't seem like too tall of an order? Well, we all know it is a lot harder then we imagine.
I won't go into a lot of her engagements, let the reader enjoy the journey. Does she find happiness in the end? You'll have to read it to find out. I will say the end of the book really touched a nerve-in a good way. It reminded me of the love I lost to cancer in 2009.
Will guys like this book? Probably won't be on their "too read" list, but women, ladies, gals, frauleins and lassies, you will definitely enjoy this read. It is informative and fun.
Well done Miss Buckley.
Won this book in a contest and tried 3 + times to get into reading this. Thought I'd like to find out how the dating online services work-not that I'm in the market for them.
Just like to understand why others turn to the service and pay money. The book is based out of Ireland and I had a problem with the slang as it's not explained and there seems to be more of a sex scene then a relationship bond. Gonna pass on reading this one.
Carole McKee, Author
I found the book informative on International rules regarding marital status, relationships, and matchmaking among other things.
A note of warning, this book is not for the faint of heart or the Young Adults. It is a page turner that is best read in bed under the covers.
Author of 'Natasha Lands Down Under'
This one is for all the single ladies! Not only though.
I admit first I had the impression I am reading "Fifty Shades of Grey", or rather, "Fifty shades of... guys"? And that pulled me into a delightful excursion on the peculiarities of human nature.
The dating guru takes us on a personal journey through the "war zone" of dating, pointing out with a sense of humor what to pay attention to. Often being charmed at first, one can easily forget about details that later on will matter: can you be with a guy shorter than you, a smoker, etc.?
Whom to believe if not somebody who has experienced "incidents" first hand?
Cherie, a main character is extremely inventive in her adventure and in her search for Mr. Right. She goes through quite a marathon of checking potential prospects. Honestly, she asks questions that probably everyone should ask themselves: can you settle for less? She does not hesitate to invest her time in finding out everything about a guy. And I do mean everything! A reader will witness Cherie's explicit erotic encounters and worthy lessons she learnt along the way.
And a surprise awaits the reader at the end of the book... I enjoyed reading it very much!
