About the Author
Karen Hudgins loves good stories and writes what she likes to read--warm, entertaining books with happy endings. Enrolling in a university continuing education novel writing program about ten years ago started Karen's journey into learning how to create fiction. "But I can now see that I was preparing for this since I was little." She has studied art, business, and obtained a degree in behavioral science. (Disciplines rooted in real life, but also how it could be.) The author is a mom and lives in the Midwest with her husband, a newspaper businessman. She enjoys travel, gardening, and the family pets.

Anne Kingsley put aside her failed marriage by working harder than ever as an ad consultant for Greene & Associates and when she got the news that it was a go at Red Gum Ranch little did she know what she was stepping into that included half crazed wild pigs and a mad man on a Triumph!!
Sheep farmer, Slade MacGregor only wanted to bury his past and his guilt over his wife's and unborn child's death. It was his fault that his wife flipped her car and hurdled down to Rainbow Canyon and now some Yank woman wanted to shoot a commercial for some sunscreen there? Not if he had a say in it after all he and his grandfather owned it!!
Karen Hudgins writes a powerful story about two distrusting people and how they came together by an old man that decided that Slade never a kick in the butt to return to the living world. The descriptions of Crystal Lake, Rainbow Canyon and all of the fauna and flora seemed to leap from the pages!!
