I purchased this 3 weeks ago so that I could keep an eye on my pets and pet-sitter while I was away. I purchased one camera and now plan to purchase another one for another area of my home. I paid $40 for the Foscam tech support to remotely install it. My cable company made it somewhat difficult to select the correct port and the Foscam tech did it in less than 15 minutes using Team Viewer on my pc. I suggest having the Team Viewer (free) program on your pc before you use tech support if you need to use tech support. I highly recommend this camera for anyone who would want to view their home while away. It is simple to use and allows you to hear sounds at your home, can pan the viewer to see a wide range. While it is supposed to allow you to speak and be heard at your home while away, that feature did not work well...have to call Foscam to find out why. It is good for one room and is not the type of camera that one typically hides from view, although it can be. It worked perfectly via my cell phone, laptop and Kindle Fire. Great deal!

Installed the free version several weeks ago and liked it enough to buy the paid version. Worked fine until today, when it stopped working properly and displayed the message "Please uninstall and reinstall from the Android Play Store." Did that and it still wouldn't work and displayed the same message. Tried to uninstall and reinstall again and continued to get the same message. Don't waste your time with this or you may wind up paying for it multiple times with it still not working correctly.

I upgraded from the free version to support the dev. Works amazingly well with my Asante Smartbot. Opens quickly and starts showing video in seconds! Research to make sure your camera is supported or download the trial before you give the paid app a bad review.

Works every time. Connects quickly - has lots of options and works great! I use this program multiple times a day for watching my son. It takes less then 5 seconds to open and connect to the camera. You can see more then 1 camera at a time if you want. In the upper right corner it always tells you the time the date and what camera you are connected to. I love this program.

I have been using IP Cam viewer both paid and free for some time on my Samsung Note 2 phone and I find it to be an excellent piece of software that does exactly what i want. The paid version which is all of $3.99 doesn't have any adds whereas the free version does. It's worth the 4 bucks to have a clean piece of software but I must admitt the adds in the free version weren't too bad. Currently I monitor 2 Foscam cameras both at home using Blue Iris software and IP cam viewer when on the road. I am still very impressed by how well the IP Cam viewer works for such a nominal price. My hats off to the author. Since this is just one part of my home security system I have other software to compare it to and all I can say is it really holds its own. Also real time views from my Foscam cameras are very clear and crisp.

Awesome app... Bad reviews don't get what ip cams are. You need your own cams, the traffic cams are just for show. If you have ip cameras or a network dvr this app is one of the best out there. Tiny cam is a nice alternative.... Still waiting for audio support on Wansview 536 megapixel...

This works great. I had the free version, and liked it so much I got the paid version just to support the developer.

This gets the audio and video from my camera and lets me watch and listen to my foscam camera. works just fine as a baby monitor.

This "IP Cam Viewer" app allows me to remotely monitor my Zmodo DVR camera system on my Kindle Fire and HTC EVO 4G. I tested the free version of the app (IP Cam Viewer Free) which supports up to 6 cameras before upgrading to full version. This version supports all eight of my cameras and it can show all of them on screen at the same time or you can choose to view them individually. I like that it can control a PTZ camera, take still and video grabs, and supports "Pinch to Zoom" even on non-PTZ cameras.

Configuration was remarkably easy if you have set up DDNS with a provider (we use DYDNS) and optioned the DVR system for remote access. In my case, the Zmodo system uses port 18004 for remote access and that had to be opened on my router's firewall. The app will also recommend a port if you select the correct camera/DVR maker and model number.

This works very well and was exactly what I was looking for.

Highly Recommended!
