All that being said...somehow this all comes together into a charming package where your attempts to corral a force of kludgery around a slime-ridden track turns into a laughing good time. My son has spent hours both cursing (as well as an 8 year is allowed to) and laughing his way around the tracks in this game. It does offer some depth in earning upgrades to the various karts that actually affect how they perform, something I appreciate as an adult player.
Both the wife and I were expecting more for the initial $40 purchase price, but as the game stands right now I wouldn't pay more than $30. $20 would be a better price point for this game.
Easy to jump right in and play
Somehow the game ends up being fun in a kludgy kind of way
Game attempts depth through kart upgrades
Nostalgia for Nickelodeon characters from my youth
Low res graphics
Physics engine needs fine tuning
Kart racing is more controlled chaos than proper racing
Tracks need more fine tuning
Skip, unless it's on sale and a gift for a youngin
