Born and raised in Queens, New York, Nicki Daniels realized her desire to become a writer at the tender age of nine. She produced her first piece at the age of ten with a creative writing assignment in her class. Since then, Daniels has continued to focus much of her attention, energy, and time on honing her writing skills, and exploring the different perspectives of the audience she hopes to reach.
Her writing style can be described as one that focuses on the more complex relationships of her characters, in an attempt to add words to the things better left unsaid; creating an evocative atmosphere with a revealing narrative to depict the scene her readers find themselves in. She draws inspiration from just about anything, including moods, movies, and music.
Daniels published her first piece, “Rice Krispies” in 2015, which was originally written in 2008. Having graduated from the University of Hartford in 2012 with degree in communications, Daniels hopes to one day build a publishing empire, with a literary magazine, and an outlet for other writers looking to achieve their goals as she has.
