Even though Nico cleaned up - he didn't step up fast enough for me. The part that ticked me off is when he even said they weren't together but they loved each other. Jill deserves a bit of a slap too. She should have called him on his BS and stopped being a doormat. When I got Nico's full story, I felt for him but still not enough to forgive him.
I would classify this as a second chance romance with minimal groveling. I'm glad that Nicola got her family. I loved the epilogue
Can't wait for Mila's book keep'm coming 😘😘😘
I usually shy away from angsty books, but I really enjoyed this one.
This was an interesting read for me. I certainly did not expect the twist about Nico's past! I enjoyed the pull between the two of them and it kept my attention cover to cover! I think readers will be surprised how well the author managed to weave that story so well! Excellent weekend read!
