I watch this show with my daughter. I wanted her to see how much work it is to have and raise a baby. It is not glamorous, and I appreciate that this show lets you see that. It breaks my heart every time when I see these girls get dumped on by the young fathers. You can see it when the realization set in that their life is over as they know it. Children are a wonderful gift from God, but not when you are a child trying to grow up yourself.

Poorly told and edited stories of unfortunate events held out to the public for their amusement.

I'm glad some of the girls do well. I wish them the best. On the part of the producers though it is exploitation of the poorly informed and naïve for profit which is kind of disgusting.

I think one of my children must have watched this show. I've never seen any of it, except for a few snippets, and I think it's absolutely terrible, and awful, and I can't believe someone made a show about this. I wish there were more negative ways I could review this. I wish I could give it negative stars. Instead, I'll give you a list of things I'd rather watch than this show: I'd rather watch the cast of the Golden Girls get colonoscopies in 4K HD 3D. I'd rather see the cast of Jackass reenact their most painful nut shots. I'd rather watch David Blaine standing still in block of ice for 40 hours. I'd rather watch a Lawrence Welk marathon on PBS, even if it was pledge week. I'd rather watch paint dry or mold grow on a block of cheese. I'd rather watch the unedited outtakes from "A Serbian Film." I'd almost rather watch a live in-depth fried-chicken eating contest between Guy Fieri and Paula Deen, but I think that if my choices were this show or that I'd go outside and read a book. Seriously, if you're thinking about watching the show, go to the library, or play some solitaire, or pick your nose. All of those are more worthwhile than this show.

I plan to have my daughter watch this show before the onset of puberty. It poignantly depicts how difficult teen pregnancy can be. The characters in the show are as diverse as the struggles they face.

I actually enjoyed seeing how Chelsea & Adam from Teen Mom 2 relationship was during her pregnancy. I did not know they were on 16 & Pregnant so it was quite entertaining & interesting to see the development of their relationship.

I'll say this about every season of 16 and Pregnant. I don't think there's a reality show/documentary that shows more clearly and truthfully about the realities of being pregnant and raising a baby at 16-18. In this season, there's a fairly wide range of events that the girls go through - one girl (Kailyn) lives with her boyfriend's parents as she can't live with her mother, one girl (Leah) has twins and goes through a lot of emotions about being pregnant with twins with a guy she'd only been dating for 1 month; another girl who does get a LOT of support from her father can't seem to get rid of her loser boyfriend, and then there's Jenelle. I could write a whole thesis on this girl! She basically isn't a mom the way the other girls are but her story is very interesting. Sometimes the show is painful to watch as you'd like to take the girls under your wings and give them some advice (like they'd take it!) but it shows that for some people, the teenage years are especially painful - made more so by the fact they have to grow up so darn fast.
