I was introduced to this vanilla paste several years ago in our local kitchen specialty store while attending a cinnamon roll making class and loved the flavor that it brought to the food. This bottle is my 3rd or 4th purchase and it has never disappointed. I love the rich vanilla flavor that it brings to my food, something that imitation vanilla just can't match. The vanilla bean flecks are a nice touch, too, to see in the foods where they are visible. (I also use a clear vanilla for those foods where I don't want the flecks but that's a different product review -- for most foods, it either doesn't matter or enhances the final product.)
I can unequivocably recommend this product! Since I was introduced to this product, there have been several other competitors pop up with what look to be comparable products; however, I like this one so much that I've not tried those competitor's products so your mileage may vary. For me, I'm sticking with this tried-and-true vanilla bean paste. Try it once and despite the higher price over artificial vanilla, you'll fall in love with the richer flavor profile and not go back to the cheaper stuff.
