This drawer sits under my Latissima+, taking up only minimal footprint UNDER it (extra 4" width & 4" depth), while saving much more space than the OEM Discovery Box accessory, which sits with nothing over it (needs to flip up). The drawer tray glides smoothly, and the entire drawer is made of metal with black coating. The drawer is very sturdy.

The drawer is designed to be 6 capsules wide and 10 capsules deep. Each slot is separated from the other with a slight lip, while the deepest 2 reside on a single, long slot: likely to allow for the 10th to easily slide to the 9th position. I cut the coffee sleeve's capsule label to sit on the front-most slot for easy reference (what do color-blind people do??).

HOWEVER (the reason for -1 star), the last 2 slots (total of 12 capsules) frequently get caught and crumpled under the upper lip of the front frame because the entire drawer is not tall enough. If you have the drawer sitting at the very front edge of your counter for maximum drawer-pulled-tilt, you can get away with 9 capsules-deep. BUT if you have the drawer sitting further back (kitchen counter space is precious!), you'll need to pry off the ball glides on the bottom of the drawer tray. I used a monkey wrench to rip off the 2 ball glides (back bottom of the drawer tray; very easy, no physical effort), and now all 60 capsules sit fine while I glide the drawer all the way in and out.

While the manual "hack" was annoying, I highly recommend this drawer tray, and even consider getting a second one to stack.

This drawer is just ok. I have a drawer for another coffee maker and it works perfectly and it is very convenient. So I wanted a drawer for my new nespresso coffee maker. So this drawer says it holds 60 capsules, but it actually only holds 48 capsules. You can not put the capsules in the back of the drawer or it will not close. Also, the capsules in the back of the drawer are getting dented from opening and closing the drawer. I am not returning it because I got it as a gift and I feel bad asking them to go through the hassle of the return process. I would recommend looking at other drawers before purchasing this one.

After trying another Nespresso storage drawer, which I liked a lot but which just didn't go with the decor of my kitchen, I decided to go for something unobtrusive rather than stylish. Enter the Nifty Nespresso Capsule Drawer.

Things I like about it: It's simple and unobtrusive. It blends in with my black Citiz with Milk, which sits on top of it, and with the rest of the kitchen. It holds a full 60 capsules, which means you don't have a few leftover capsules every time you open a box of ten. It's solidly constructed and the drawer slides smoothly.

Things that could be better: It'd have preferred a handle of some kind on the front to open the drawer rather than just an opening that you have to stick a finger through to pull on the drawer. Other than that, I can't think of a single thing I would change.

Some other reviewers have said that you can't put capsules in the rear-most slots of the drawer or it won't close without crushing them. I have had no problems filling all 6 rows all the way back. It may be that there's a production problem with some people getting defective units, but mine opens and closes perfectly when fully loaded with capsules.

These stackable drawers are a great way to organize Nespresso capsules in a small space. Several reviewers have complained about it denting capsules or not closing properly. I finally figured out that this happens if the drawer is not properly seated in the outer box. The end of the drawer has two round knobs which are meant to be below two sets of parallel guide wires in the outer box. When properly seated, the drawer slides smoothly and doesn't dent the pods. But when the drawer is half way out, if you push down hard on the front, the two knobs can pop out of where they're supposed to be and the drawer doesn't slide well and the pods can get dented. It's easy to put it back in place, though, if you know how. Just put the drawer in half way and push down on the back so the two knobs pop back under the wire guides. You can see what's going on from below if you have this problem. Once I figured that out, I was very happy with the system. It organizes the pods in a way that allows easy access and you can see what's there.

This item works just as it is intended - I have a Nespresso Citiz with the frother and it sits comfortably on top of the drawer.

I saw some of the reviews state that some capsules don't fit - specifically the back two slots.. At first I thought so too, and there really isn't any documentation that comes with the product (Who would have thought any was needed?). As it turns out, if you slide the empty tray all the way to the back before filling, the two ball guides will drop into the rail guide which lowers the tray - it's important to note that the rails seem to be further apart in the back so you need to make sure they drop from that end - trying to force them down from the front won't work.

All in all, great product - sturdy and doesn't seem to warp from the pressure of the espresso machine as some of the similar products do. Definitely beats messing with the cartons that the capsules come in, or a separate stand that would take up additional space, and probably hold less capsules.
