    I’ve been waiting for Night Court box set for years now. I am a huge collector of physical media. From the Law and Order box set, Wings, Knight Rider, Airwolf, West Wing, every original Star Trek series I’ve loved (Wasn’t an Enterprise fan.)

    Night Court was a show that was played later at night or even after school when I was a teenager in the 90’s. What I love about having the series now is seeing it through the eyes of living experiences. How the humor is better, and the point of each episode could teach you about life without hitting you over the head with it.

    I did have to do a bit of work to put the seasons in their proper order. That’s worth it to own one of the last pieces of my physical collection. With companies not producing physical copies and other companies not selling physical media. I do highly recommend you get your hands on it now. Before too long it will be gone, and you’ll have to always have a subscription to the right service monthly, with a monthly internet bill. I say that knowing we all have one now. But there are some of us that don’t have true unlimited internet, due to where are homes are located. With this box set you need a TV and DVD player and you’re all set.

    Also helps to have power 😉

    I really enjoy this original series (much more than the new one). The DVDs arrived in good order and in good condition. The reason I am giving it four stars instead of five, is because the order of the disks in the package is a bit confusing to follow. The season (season1, season 2, etc.) is not shown in the disks themselves, so there are multiple disks 1, disks 2, and disks 3. Be careful when taking them out of the box, and when putting them back in. Nonetheless - a great series!

    I was a kid, when Night Court premiered. I remember liking it and thinking it was funny, then, and revisiting it now is a blast from the past.

    Sure, today, the hairstyles, clothing and now "inappropriate language 🙄", are different, but if you're anything like me, Night Court is a welcomed breath of fresh air, over all of the forced political topics in ALL of today's TV shows.

    Thankfully there is a lot of nuanced humor in Night Court, that obviously I wouldn't have caught as a kid, that makes this sitcom worth watching again.

    Keep collecting the quality shows of the past on physical media, people! The garbage we're seeing in today's TV shows is only getting worse! And remember, if you take care of it, you only have to purchase physical media (once).

    All in all, this is a great collection to have. However, both the pilot episode and Season 6 Episode 6 "The Last Temptation of Mac" did not transfer well and are far too dark. One disc, Season 6 Disc 2, in the set I bought has what looks like a de-lamination within the DVD itself and causes the DVD player to go nuts on Season 6 Episode 18. I'll be trying to figure out how to get a replacement disc -- the return window has closed, obviously, before I watched this one.

    Night Court is one of the few series where I wanted to get a physical copy after seeing it on streaming. This contains the entire series from start to finish. Probably the only negative on it is that there is no episode listing on the discs or in any kind of a separate booklet. So unfortunately, you do have to know where an episode you wanna watch is listed in the series. Otherwise though it’s great.
