If you love small towns, cemeteries, histories and mysteries names like Merilee Willa Faye and Sugar this is a book for you. One of the best lines of description was when the newspaper reminds the locals they will get through the tornado they just had and it is Christmas in GA not LA , where people shine vs sparkle, smile and bless their hearts instead of giving the finger. This saying and the story is something every true southerner will recognize.
Her characters are well developed and pull you into the storylines effortlessly. I love that they are relatable, not perfect. I always have a difficult time putting them down!
I really enjoyed this particular book and totally recommend it, especially to lovers of Southern Fiction.
She just gets better with each one. This book has a lot of heart and suspense. If you like a page turner you should read this book.
I couldn't put it down. If you read it at night you will stay up all night until you finish it. Loved it!
