By: Andrea Smith
Lindsay’s best friend & college roommate, Darcy Sheridan got the shock of her life when she walked in on her G-Man boyfriend, Darin Murphy, cheating on her. When that happened, she took off to Belize for Christmas. While there, she ran into an utterly handsome and enigmatic man, named E.J. whom she was attracted to, as well as he was attracted to her. He wasn’t totally upfront with her about everything, but used a technicality to excuse himself and his behavior. Before he left the country, he said that he would be seeing her again, though she didn’t really plan on it.
While in Belize she also met and befriended Eli, a gay man, who also became one of her best friends and eventual roommate. At Taz and Lindsay’s wedding, Darcy is shocked to learn that E.J. is also more commonly known as Easton Matthews, Taz’s older brother and best man. But we do get to at least see Lindsay and Taz get their HEA.
Darcy is still, terribly attracted to him and him to her. What starts as one night becomes more nights. But Easton is adamant that there will be no other type of relationship other than a sexual one. But as much as he says that and portrays that, he can’t help having deeper feelings for Darcy and leading her on until she falls for him. So he does the only thing that he thinks he can do, and that is separating them with a large distance.
Though distances don’t always work and the old saying, “Absences makes the heart grow fonder” is certainly true in their case. After seeing each other again, they of course reunite in passion and form a pseudo-relationship. Are you confused? Good, so is Darcy.
Darcy and Easton will face more ups and downs and there are more twists and turns in their story. But Darcy has her roommate Eli to lean on and also has her best friend Lindsay to talk to, who also asks Taz for insight on his brother.
I feel like I can’t go any further into the story without giving away any of the plot or subplots, and I just refuse to do spoilers. However, I will say that Lindsay’s father, the rat b@st@rd does make a reappearance in this book, which does come to a head to finish out this great trilogy!
Darcy is a spoiled only child who has never really had to work for anything. She thought she had it made like her BFF Lindsey, because she had met her own G-Man, Darin. WOW, was she in for a surprise!
She took a Christmas trip to Belize where her world got turned up-side down. First, by this mysterious, wealthy hottie named E.J and then by her new, gay BBF Eli. She thought the excitement was over, but once she got back home to D.C. she got another shocker.
This spoiled girl quickly learns how to stand on her own to feet with the help of her BFF's. She also helps Lindsey get a little closure from The Rat Bastard. You really want to know how Darcy handles all of these surprises and see if she gets that HEA, so read this book!!
Wowzers...Thank you Andrea Smith for this man. He was a rich, arrogant, dominant lover with a past full of hurt. He needed control and he always got what he wanted...Darcy, you didn't stand a chance! IF you love a Christian Grey type man, then you will fall in love with Easton!
Too bad for Easton, Darcy is not a wilting submissive. This girl is smart...whiny and definitely high maintenance at times, but she is who she is, no false pretenses, and she wants Easton no matter the destruction he will leave all is said and done. The question is will Easton be able to handle all the Darcy has to offer? It is fascinating to watch him struggle with real human emotion, love being first and foremost.
This read was a chess game of wills played on a board of desire and passion. Darcy and Easton were wound so tight with the sexual tension surrounding them. This was no love at first sight, just an immediate attraction that when acted on literally rocked both. I Love the struggle that Easton had when coming to terms with actually wanting someone and possibly even caring.
This was my fave book of the series...so Easton wasn't an official G-man, but he sure knows how to "deliver the goods," control a situation, and succeed at getting the results he wants...so in my book, that makes him and his story perfection!

Well, if the cover hasn't sold you, the story certainly will, all I can say is WOW what an amazing COVER!! Who wouldn't want to read the contents!!
This story is about Darcy, you may remember her from Love Plus One as she was Lindsey's roommate at college. Darcy was a bit of a spoilt brat, being an only "miracle" child, her parents catered to her every whim, her father owned his own company which Darcy was aiming to take over once she had finished college. Her life was therefore mapped out for her, the only thing missing was love and after seeing Lindsey and Taz, Darcy was a bit jealous. Darcy was in a relationship with another G-Man called Darin, however, one night she surprises him in more ways than one when she turns up unannounced and he is caught with his pants down, literally. She decides to get away from it all and goes on holiday to Belize, she just needs to forget her crappy life.
Whilst in Belize, Darcy spots EJ a.k.a Easton Matthews. He is 6ft 3, gorgeous, dark, sexy, handsome, but he loves himself, he comes across as cocky and arrogant but is this is all a facade. He is half American/English, talks with a British accent and is a very successful entrepreneur. He is very very sexy!!
"I want to eff you in the worst way possible. What I don't want is to be some revenge eff of yours in order to get back at your cheating boyfriend who you'll most likely get back with before you land in D.C. I'm not that guy, love. When I eff you, there'll be no doubt in your mind as to who you're with and why you're with me, understand?"
Yes Easton does take a lot of getting used to, he is in Belize with his personal assistant Lacee, who also turns out to be his shag buddy, as Easton does not "do" relationships. Turns out he was burned very badly once before and once you hear his back story it all makes sense and you can finally begin to understand the whys.
Whilst in Belize, Darcy also meets Eli, who turns out to be an amazing friend, and an amazing gay BF, I think every girl needs one of these, they always turn out to be the best, the most reliable and dependable and the most honest, Eli turns out to be all of these and I adore him!!
"You're my brotha from anotha."
Turns out that Easton is obviously more taken with Darcy than he lets on in Belize and soon his stalkerish tendencies rise to the top and we see a whole different side to Easton. What will happen when Easton tries to not only invade Darcy's personal life but also her business?
I loved the way that Darcy grew some in this book, it would have been easy for her to capitulate and pull a childish tantrum when things were not going her way with her father's business, but the way she chose to rise to the top of her own merit said a lot about the woman that she was becoming. Her business ethic was great considering the stresses or "stress" that she was under (in more ways than one!)
"Dudes are just plain freakin' from another planet; I wasn't thinking Mars either, more like Ur-Anus!!"
Easton, my little Brit, I knew that he was hiding something and when it all comes out your heart breaks for him, he has had a tough life from the beginning. You would think that with his mothers social standing and wealth he would have had the perfect upbringing, but alas, no. His mother was too caught up in her own world to worry about her son, who she was using as an emotional pawn against his father. Then add malicious and spiteful super models and out pops "this" Easton, can Darcy be the one to tame him and show him that he can love and be loved?
This book does have some kink, not heavy and not gratuitous. As with all Andrea Smith books, you have some smoking hot scenes and I mean smoking!! With a bod like that...well lets just say he puts it to good use and he has piercings!!
I thoroughly enjoyed Easton's story, I loved catching up with the usual suspects from books 1 and 2 and glad we still had glimpses of Slate and Taz. The title "Night Moves" is pure freakin genius, I love how and where this name originated.
In summary a fab read, Easton is a marmite character, you will either love him or hate him, but please give him the benefit of the doubt and spread him on your toast...make a meal out his story, hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!
Darcy is very impulsive, her character is written very well as she is spoilt and thinks the world revolves around her. She does change and grow up throughout the book. Easton (EJ) also has some character changing to do before they reach their HEA.
Suitable for adults. I don't think it would appeal to teenagers, YA but just in case, there are sexual situations and mild bondage.
Easton is a bit of an arse, but the parts from his perspective manage to keep him sympathetic.
For British readers the 'Britishisms' throughout this book will be entertaining too, sometimes they are spot on and sometimes way, way off, but still there's fun to be had spotting the dodgy ones.
