How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.

I really enjoyed this anthology - it felt like fresh ideas in each story and that’s what locked me in. I like when stories make me think a little or I’m surprised at the end and this one had both assets. Highly recommend. I’ve already preordered book 2!

Explore Horror, both Internal and External (is it only in your mind? Not very likely) with 13 terrifying stories collated by the Editors of Scare Street [who probably never sleep unless all the lights are on]. These tales will wake your terrors, boggle your mind, and sink roots into your imagination.

For those of us who enjoy a short, horror story as a light read before bedtime. This book had just the right amount of stories, and the length of them are just enough to unwind the day and still feel the creepiness of the night.

I always love a good anthology and this is a great one. Definitely recommend this to anyone who loves a great mix of horror and fantasy. The last story admittedly is my favorite I love the author’s work never disappoints. But all the rest in this book are good as well

Good shivers. Well done stories....they have an ending whether you like it or not. I am going to get the next book in the series. If I’m a star short, I probably didn’t like one of the stories.

Ideal for when you only have spare time for short reads.

There are some good stories here although a couple have predictable endings.
I thought Florns' Ghost was a story that went nowhere hence my 4 star rating.
All things considered this book is worth reading.
