Worn once after having the mercurial iv for about 2 years. This shoe has no tongue so that's taking some getting used to. the gap between the two sides the laces connect is probably more than an inch and a half and there is just the built in sock thing between the thin laces and your foot. It's weird. It felt very weird when i first laced them up, because i could really feel the laces right on my foot. during the game i didn't notice anything though, except my complete lack of skill, but i've always had that problem.

He chose a half size up from his original ones. We were happy upon trying them on that they fit perfectly. They hold up very well. A great pair of soccer shoes for boys.

I finally broke them in so I can give them a proper review. At first, when I ran, they used hurt like hell which didn't happen with my last cleats. I thought it was because they were new. Now, they are broken in and after running, my heels are in utter pain. Meaning, you can feel the ground after a sprint. I am very susceptible to injury so I am hoping that these won't cause me to mess up something else as one of my other prior cleats (I own 3 pairs) had this same problem. I guess not enough heel support or something..

When you tie them up, laces don't feel too tight. Feels like they're about to come off, I guess that's just the design. On the one hand, it's done wonders for my ankles.

These cleats are amazing and have become my Game Day cleats for soccer. The design really helps support the ankles. They take a little bit of getting used to as the design is slightly different from other cleats as it does not have a tongue, but after a few days, you'll be beating everyone. Just be careful as they run slightly small, like other soccer cleats.
