First, it is crucial to find the right shoes that suit your feet. When I first started running, I experienced knee pain because I wore shoes that did not properly fit my feet. These shoes have a variety of selections for you to choose from depending on the shape of your feet, so I know I can pick the ones that will be best for me.
The second key trait I look at is durability. These shoes stand up nicely to physical punishment and to all types of weather. I have been wearing these shoes to run for a few months now, and I have not yet noticed the development of any problems so far.
Third, good running shoes are designed to be ergonomic and to provide good support. This shoe is both light weight and supportive. I have flat feet so this is an important trait to me, and this shoe delivers great arch support without the need to spend more money on expensive in soles.
Last but not least, traction. This is where these shoes really shine; I feel comfortable running in these shoes even in icy conditions where I would otherwise need to be careful. Living in a cold climate, this this is a must-have feature for a good shoe, and this shoe delivers.
In my experiences with many types of running shoes, these shoes have risen to the top as some of the best I've ever worn. Worth every cent, these shoes make me feel comfortable, stylish, and most importantly, safe.
I bought a pair of the Nike Free Run 3 shoes to run in when they first came out, so by the time the Free 5.0 was released, it was about time for an upgrade. I was very pleased with the comfort and the versatility of the Free Run 3, so it only made sense to give the Free 5.0 shoes a try. I’m here to tell you that I was extremely satisfied with this decision.
The Free 5.0 is not only a good-looking casual shoe, but an excellent running shoe as well. When judging a running shoe, I focus on fit, flexibility, stability, and breathability.
The Free 5.0 met my expectations in all four of these categories. To begin with, the fit of the shoe is snug. It is neither too narrow nor too wide. The shoe does run true to size though, so if you like a little wiggle room for your toes, I would recommend going up a half size. The next criteria are flexibility and stability. The Free 5.0 shoes can be rolled up into a ball, so they are extremely flexible with a lot of give in your stride. At the same time, they have a lot of cushion and mid-foot arch support to provide stability. Lastly, the shoes are made of a lightweight mesh material that provides superior breathability that is evident and appreciated while running. All of these elements combine to make a great running shoe.
The Free 5.0 shoes exceeded my expectations in many ways and I would highly recommend them as your next pair of shoes. Whether you’re looking for a casual athletic shoe, or your next pair of great running shoes, the Free 5.0 will fit your needs.
