Super sharp Great Bokeh

This lens is super sharp. The amount of details you get while it’s wide open, is just amazing. Paring this with the Z system, I can short in low light and no issue. There is some vignette, which is expected being open 1.2. Overall, I really recommend this lens for every day use and portraits.

Obviously the lens is perfect. Except that this copy appears to be used. I spent $2000 for a brand new lens and you get a used one. just so unprofessional.

The lens is quite large but it’s a 1.2 so that’s to be expected. I just threw it on and took some photos of my dog in the backyard to try it out and it’s pretty astonishing at 1.2. I also included a photo with it with a z8 for size reference.

I shoot portraits and have been waiting for this lens since they announced it! Is 1.2 necessary? No. Absolutely not. But oh is it so nice to have. Video quality is so good and picture is sharp edge to edge even at 1.2!! Large and heavy but a small sacrifice for picture quality.

It’s a good lens if you like bokeh then you will like this lens. But the image gets soft at 1.2 wide. Also it’s very heavy it’s heavier than 24-70 🥴the 50 1.8 is a more practical and better lens in my opinion i don’t thinks it’s worth the upgrade.
