Nina Munteanu is an award winning ecologist, novelist and science writer. Her works have been translated and published throughout the world. Nina writes essays and movie/book reviews for magazines and ezines such as The New York Review of Science Fiction and Strange Horizons. She is currently an editor of European zine Europa SF and Eagle Publishing House and writes for Amazing Stories. Nina teaches writing at George Brown College and the University of Toronto.
Nina frequently speaks at scientific conferences, gives workshops on writing throughout North America and Europe and coaches writers to publication. Her writing guide "The Fiction Writer: Get Published, Write Now!" was adopted by several colleges and universities throughout North America and Europe. Her latest book, "Water Is..." was chosen by Canadian writer Margaret Atwood in the New York Times "The Year in Reading" for 2016.
