I’ve used food processors for quite some time and decided to upgrade to a ninja after using low end processors for years. I couldn’t have been more disappointed. Just a month after purchasing the product the base would no longer spin when any contents were in the processor. I couldn’t return it through amazon as the time period had just passed and the ninja customer service team were no help. They refused to stand behind a one month old product that cost over a hundred dollars. Do not buy this product!

BROKE with only under a month of use

I'd recommend buying the extended warranty if possible. I used this every of other day when I first received it and it worked perfectly. I'm really happy with the attachments or it is a very versatile unit. However, after about three weeks, I tried to turn it on and the lights started blinking (meaning it is not ready to go). Usually, this would indicate that you haven't locked it correctly. Well, it was locked correctly and basically a piece of plastic in the lid was faulty and not pushing down on the base to set it into "operate mode". We ended up being able to return this only within in 5 day window so I felt lucky about that BUT only three weeks of use is pretty sad. I'm going to try and get this replaced and just hope that the second version is better. I think it is a really powerful and useful kitchen appliance. I'm actually really bummed to be without it while this return gets settled.

Durable and good quality!

I wanted to give this 5 stars, but there's a few things that I'm not crazy about. Shreds really well and fast. The motor is excellent. The food tube feeder is too narrow for most veggies, you have to cut most of them down to fit. Slicing is too thin, cucumbers come out translucent, wish there were additional disks available. Chopping is good but I use pule otherwise it makes pieces too small. Wish it came with a spiralizer blade and a disk to make fries(?)
I will keep this because it can make dough for cookies and bread, but I think they should add additional features to make it more versatile.
I own several other Ninja appliances and highly recommend the entire line of products. Well made, reliable, and durable.

Well, the first 45 days it worked well. I probably used it 10 times. Then I went to use it one day and the motor was completely dead. Power works, I can tell by the lights. But the motor is dead as a door nail. So I'm about $120. Now looking into whether there's a manufacturer warranty or anything as it seems like my 30 day window to return via Amazon expired. Buyer beware...

I love this new processor. We originally had a Black & Decker from 2015 that just sat the older it got, and we just resorted to using blenders because, at the time, they worked better for us. Now that we have this multipurpose blender, i can honestly say i don't want or need another. There are a few issues i have, but nothing that would keep me from buying this product.

First Issue: The shredding disk. My issue with this is that there is a space between the grater and the actual hole you put your cheese or other items you want shredded in. That space creates an area where food (such as cheese) will get smushed in and cause there to be un shredded pieces in the mix, or they just get completely stuck in the part that is meant to force them into the grater. So when you're done, you have quite a bit of cheese or other food items stuck in the gap.

Second Issue: The cleaning process. God this is a pain. The shredding disk is the hardest part, along with the part you use to push the food down the funnel. The shredding disk has some dumb area where food can easily get stuck in, and a traditional sponge will not easily get the items out. I had to use a brush to get the food out. The second one is the bottom of the pusher. It's not complet flat which i don't understand, so there are lines where food can easily get jammed into that, again, you will need a brush to get out.

Those are my only gripes. Every other feature i love. The functionality and quickness of the shredder is great, the blades are very sharp and are great at literally mulching this down. The durability of the plastic feels great, it does not feel like a cheap plastic at all. I have yet to try the dough mode, but i will definitely test it soon!

As an avid home cook, I killed my last food processor after 5 years of use. I bought this one because NINJA has a reasonably good reputation. I really like it! for my own home use its great. I made the Naan bread recipe and it was delicious. I've made one loaf of bread easily using the dough blade. Adding a bit more flour helped pull the dough bits from the bowl and blade. It cleaned fairly easily with no areas that got wet on the inside of the handle. It fits together easily and has I nice release button to release the lid from the bowl. It's a good product! Does it's job. The only design flaw would be the food chute. Carrots or cucumbers fall to one side of the wide chute. No centre O to slide narrow veggies into. There is also no small hole in the food pusher to allow liquids IE: olive oil to be added slowly for things like mayonaise or milk etc. Its small enough to fit easily on my counter. It's a keeper for me.
