We have used this sparingly at most and have discovered the base is cracking (its all the way through). Its never been abused and has made perhaps 15 smoothies I would guess? We don't fill it up with ice we just put a small amount in the bottom.
I thought I would explain that even though its under warranty, Ninja want to charge us 19.99 for them to ship us a replacement. So here I have a faulty product that is breaking apart and is potentially dangerous and I am being told 'sure its under warranty and clearly defective but hey we want you to pay us more money to replace our faulty product you paid for already'
I was told 'its written in the warranty info' by the rep on the phone - well this should be public information before you buy it. Not withheld until you have the product and need to use the warranty. If I had known that I would be paying over half the cost of the unit for a warranty replacement of a unit that is clearly defective then I would not have bought it.
Why on earth should we have to pay to have a faulty product replaced???
