I seriously hate this blender. It worked well when we first got it but within a week the black plastic part had a crack in it and would shoot our drinks all over the place. Assuming it was cheaply made and probably got dropped I bought a replacement. The replacement doesn’t fit properly.

My husband bought his because he said it was way better then my $19.99 smoothie blender that finally burnt out after 3 years. He was wrong. I have never been so disappointed in a product in my whole life

Beast mode! I've had and used many different blenders. This thing will blend just about anything you throw at it. I made a home made ice frap recently. if you know the recipe, ya know it requires a ton if ice. 3 seconds. Done! 3 seconds! Anyway, I blend 1-2 smoothies 6-7 days a week. I use mostly frozen fruit, ripe banana, and juice. The motor doesn't start smelling funny like a lot of other blenders on the market, simply because it has to actually blend a solid. Oh no. It laughs at solids, like Hulk laughs at an invitation to arm wrestle. I always clean the blender attachment right away. Just wash it and air dry it!

Unfortunately, I had this for about a month and the motor would start smoking and smell horrible. Only used it to make protein shakes in the morning, didn’t over fill with ice. Had purchased this one as a replacement for our other IQ blender that did the same thing after 3 years. Sadly, I had to return it.

I was looking forward to receive the product. Did my research, read plenty of reviews and watched videos for brand comparison. I have to say I was very disappointed with this product. It may well work for others but for me it didn't do the job. After a single use I could taste and smell a plastic/rubber burned. Nasty to say the least. Smoothie did not taste good at all! I thought the more watts, power/potency, the better but honestly no. The smoothie may look good but not a pleasant taste. Not easy to clean as remaining bits stay under the silicone ring and if unnoticed could turn into mould. Hope this review helps. In terms of value for money, the current offer does not do justice for the product quality, at least for me. Sometimes less is more...

This is a fantastic piece of kit. I usually use the automated "smart" blending. This is where it pulses and let's the contents settle then blends, let it settle, then blend....over the space of a minute. Results are pretty much spot on. So operation is simple.....its 4 buttons. The main unit is a weighty piece of kit which in addition to rubber feet also has suction cups on the bottom to stop it dancing around. It'll still move around as it's a powerful piece of kit.

Comes with 2 cups the larger of which is a great size for loading and blending but the resulting smoothie will just fit into the smaller cup (which is a handy size). It also comes with 2 lids for the cups with a drinking spout. Rinse the cup and lids out as soon after use as possible. Since the threads to secure the lids are on the inside of the cup they can easily get welded together by the remains of a smoothie.

In use this can be very loud, even more so if ice or frozen fruit are being blended.

Cleaning is easy. A quick rinse under the hot tap and you're done. Another option is a squirt of washing up liquid some hot (not boiling) water and pulse the blender. Job done.

Basically I've knocked a star off for the noise and cost. While it's not expensive it's also not a full on blender so it's expensive for what it is.

All in all it's a good piece of kit that I'd recommend.

I've had mine for 3 years nearly and it's had an easy life getting used no more than 3 times a week on average usually on about a 20 second blend and probably only once having to blend something challenging like ice. Last week it gave off a horrible burning smell leaving me in no doubt it's was on it's last legs. TBH I'd expected this to be more robust as it is one of the more expensive blenders.

I have sent two of these back and been refunded. Both units leaked from the bottom of the blade housing. I tested the first replacement ninja twice using cold water and noticed bits of black debris floating around after finishing its cycle. It didn't say anything in the manual about adding extra ingredients so believe they shouldn't have been there.
Both units identical faults, maybe a manufacturing issue?
I would advise on buying a different brand.

As others have said, this is noisy. It's not as bad as I expected given other reviews, but it was noisy enough for my grandchildren to cover their ears when first in use! It is a blender and a powerful one at that. It does a brilliant job. The IQ programmes are fabulous. Just press a button and it pulses and blends thoroughly! Delighted with its ease of use, its neat appearance and its performance. The only downside may be the cleaning of the rim of the blender component. I give it a good rinse we as soon as I am finished. Overall, I am really pleased.
