For the past 20 years, or so, I've used Bullet blenders to use for single serve smoothies. When the Bullet first came out, it were the only one of it's type. Each one only lasted about 5 to 7 years, so I've had 3 over that time. With each one I've had to replace various parts that either broke or wore out. The plastic pieces that you insert the cup into get damaged over time and can't be replaced. I decided to get something a bit more powerful and robust. I would have preferred it if it was only $99 instead of $120, but the difference only comes to a penny or two a day, so the cost difference is only really psychological when you place your order.
Pros:
Generous sized cup compared to the bullet. Handles the ingredients that had maxed out in my bullet
Powerful, blends smoothies in just a few seconds, a fraction of the time of the bullet
Robust design making it much easier to use, and probably last longer, than the Bullet.
Easier to keep clean than the bullet.
Can work as a normal blender
Cons:
Fairly noisy. However, it's on for less than 5 seconds so it's not a big deal
Pricey for a single serve smoothie blender. However, it only really comes down to a penny or two a day, and it gives you the option to use as a regular blender when needed.
I am extremely happy with the purchase.

Box damaged product good so far
I was worried that the blender may be damaged when I saw the box torn up on my front porch but thankfully it wasn’t.I unboxed the product immediately and thank goodness Ninja uses such great interior packaging.I like my smoothies the consistency of soft serve ice cream and so far this hits the spot! I also like the lid and how you can turn the blades to fully mix the contents of the container I put peanut butter in my smoothies and it frequently sticks to the sides of the container inside and this feature takes care of that!Clean up was very easy I think it’s easier than the previous Ninja that I had for almost 10 years.The Ninja brand is well worth the money! Don’t hesitate purchasing, you’ll get your money’s worth it’s a well built product that I highly recommend.
