This item ended up being a bust! I thought I'd save a few. Ickes and get a used one. Initially we thought it was a good deal and my grandson was so excited about getting what he asked for for his birthday.
Then his parents bought him a game but it would not play. It wanted a passcode that we didn't have. I contacted Amazon and they said we had to get it directly from nientendo. When we contacted nientendo, they needed the serial number. The serial number had been removed from the device, which tells me that the item was stolen or some other illegal activity. The return date has passed so looks like we are stuck.
Will continue to get resolution via Amazon.

Wasn’t wiped at all: mine came in all Spanish from the last user so I had to use google translate just to change the language and it’s still not wiped completely. Secondly: there’s no stylus and it never said anything about not having a stylus. Also can the “some scratches” is an understatement, this thing is so worn it isn’t even funny. If this is what I knew I was going to getfor over $100, I would’ve just gotten a new one

I got this awesome Nintendo 3DS for Christmas. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and saw that not only did I have the 3DS that I had been wanting for a long time, but it was also my favorite color! I've been playing with this amazing Travel size consel for the past two months. It makes car rides, road trips, and long waits bearable and fun! I enjoy that the Nintendo 3DS offers a 3-D experience without any potentially negative effects of typical 3-D viewing/gaming. I enjoy the audio aspects of this consel. The sound is clear and precise, no garbled noise. The graphics are very realistic. I also enjoy the feature that plays music and an animation when I hover over an app, it's quite unique. I would absolutely recommend the Nintendo 3DS to everyone ages 6 and up. This recommendation is due to the practicality of the games, as well as the ability to be able to read instructions, character dialogue, narration, and developmental maturity.
