Nintendo 3DS Compatible with 3DS / 3DS XL / 2DS AC Adapter
This AC Adapter is the same as the one included with every Nintendo 2DS, Nintendo 3DS XL, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo DSi XL, and Nintendo DSi. It is used to recharge the internal rechargeable battery or it can be used as a direct power source. If your system is not charging properly, we recommend following our troubleshooting steps before deciding upon replacement.
This AC Adapter will only work with the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL, Nintendo 2DS, Nintendo 3DS XL, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo DSi XL, and Nintendo DSi.

This charger came in the expected packaging, and it looks exactly like the original one it's replacing. I plugged it in, and my 3DS came back to life, so it works perfectly at its job. I didn't find any flaws when using it, so I highly recommend it to New Nintendo 3DS owners. 5/5 stars

I went to play my New Nintendo 3DS and found the battery completely dead, which was surprising since it was plugged in. I feared that my system had died and I had lost all of my game saves! I searched Amazon for an authentic replacement charger because I have heard horror stories about third party chargers and docks for various systems getting the wattage or voltage wrong and doing permanent damage. The quality is nice, it doesn't feel cheap but it's not premium. The cable didn't peeled in this 3 years with a very rought use. The product is resistance cause it fell from a 2 meters distance and do nothing, it works perfectly. Comes in a box with a tiny paper with instructions that help almost nothing.
I give to it a 9/10 cause I have to buy another one and it doesn't come with the console. Smart move, Nintendo.

I bought a New Nintendo 3DS XL and knew it that it didn't come with a charger, so I have to buy this one for a very good price cause in the country where I live it is overpriced and is very difficult to find an original one from Nintendo. The one I bought is shipped and sold by Amazon. Looking at the product I bought, it is identical to the back of my old 3DS XL charger with the serial number of the same format and etching. The front was updated (since my old charger is quite old) with one more translation and 2 new certifications (NOM, NYCE). It also comes in the red/white box that is advertised on the front of the product page. Works so no problems here!
