Completely unnecessary purchase and completely worth it. Not much else to say. If you are a fan of Zelda games and like the retro look, it's a neat little figurine even if you don't use them for games (I haven't). Looks great next to the similar retro Mario amiibo figurine. Oh and the Master Sword is strapped to his back and can't be seen while still in the package.

A great throwback to the Link sprite from the original Legend Of Zelda on NES, and it will be compatible with Breath Of The Wild. Like all amiibo it is made of great quality, and there is a new cool base for this series. Interestingly his sword is on his back at a 45º angle, which was not seen in the game and looks reminiscent of Minecraft iconography. My minor gripes are that the 8-Bit Mario is on an elevated stand (the pipe) so they aren't level when side by side, and what's up with his nose?

I love this Amiibo. Easily my favorite in my collection. There is something about his chunky, dumpy little body that makes me smile. Seeing a 3-D version of a 2-D pixel sprite is very endearing. And for some reason this little sucker is HEAVY! It adds to his chunky charm in my opinion. 10/10

This is worth it for Zelda: Breath of the Wild alone (you get a costume which is exclusive to this amiibo), but is used in several other titles, as well. Would definitely recommend it for any Zelda fan, especially if they have Breath of the Wild.

I find it's size rather funny. When you think of an 8-Bit Zelda from the original legend of zelda game, you would think of this small link running around a 8-Bit map but in figure form it's actually pretty big, if not bigger than some of the zelda amiibos lol. Great detail though. I do see a bit of scruff even though this is a new figure, like I see a bit of glue mark next to its ear and bits of tiny plastic pieces were they didn't cut properly into place for the molding. For that I'll just give it 4 stars.

I got this for nostalgic reasons (ok, so all of my Amiibos so far are old-school), but I was floored by Link's power in Super Smash Bros. Even when he was unbuffed (fed no equipment) at Level 44, he was whupping the pants off all the level 50s, even when they were buffed. Stellar.
