Pretty disappointed. I bought this item over others because it clearly stated (picture of sellers description above) that it came with all the proper cords/pieces to play. I even bought an extra controller and extension cords for the controllers so my kid could play on Christmas Day. But when we opened the box to set it up there was no AC adapter included. I would have happily bought one had I known it wasn’t included. Super disappointed kid on Christmas. False item description.

Not happy. The Nintendo system is not Nintendo. It is a cheap knock off from China. It did not have as many games as advertised. It had many games repeated. If I wanted cheap and fake I would have bought that. Beware. first picture is what I thought I would recieve and what was on the site. Second picture is what I recieved. Wish I could give it negative stars.

This is great....but only has a USB power plug- and computers/tv USB will not power it. You must have a 5V 1A power adapter. I found one that is a BlackWeb brand that worked that is >1A but you definitely need to have one. Also the cord on the one controller is VERY short, get the extenders!

Images are NOT the quality of the original NES. Which is fine, except the sample images on the back of the box (and in the posting) suggest the images are the quality of the original NES. They’re more similar to Atari. Even worse, there is a delay the controls, so it is basically impossible to master any of the games if you’re jumping a half second later than when you press the button. We even ordered new controllers (wireless), hoping it was the controller that came with the system, but the delay is still there. Super frustrating to play any of the games. Will be returning ASAP. Not worth the $150 we paid. Total rip off.

Functionally speaking, mine has worked perfectly. No issues. As others in the reviews have said, you need a 5v 1amp adapter to plug into the wall if you don't want to plug into the TV to power it. I tried a 2amp adapter and the system would not turn on. So, it definitely must be a 1amp. The controller cord is incredibly short. I recommend getting a set of longer ones. I wanted a second controller anyhow so that didn't matter to me. I got a set of 10ft controllers and have been fine. I like that I can save my spots for every game in the system. You can find the whole listing on NES' website. This thing is so tiny! Shows how far tech has come. All those games on this lil thing. The only downside, which isn't a downside because I thought about it before getting and made the choice is that the games on this system are built in. There are no cartridges. That means if I want more, I cannot have them. If you want games not on the listing, you then you should with a different system than the mini and be able to swap cartridges. If that is not a concern, then you're all set like me!
