Robot Only... powers on but that is the extent in which we can test it. No accessories, see picture. What you see is what you get.

It came with an NES and all!
The zapper, the robot and all his pieces, the console, gyromite
except duck hunt, but we bought that separately.
totally worth the money
What this is, is a relic from that time period. And I mean that in the nicest possible sense. IMO the truth about ROB and the maybe 3 games available for it, lies somewhere in between. I never played the ROB games too much with ROB once I figured out you could play them... and be more efficient as well... without him. You had to have a degree of patience for those games that maybe a lot of kids didn't have, which makes me think it probably should've been geared towards older gamers who wouldn't think it too tedious to use. But the concept itself, along with what would become known as the "Power Glove", showed that Nintendo had ALWAYS worked with the technology they'd end up using with the WII... albeit in the case of ROB, maybe cut back on the flashing, potential seizure inducing signals that would trigger ROB to get busy. (yikes!)
Is it worth it? I'd agree with the other reviewer in that for nostalgia's or collector's sake, maybe. But if you're looking for real enjoyment, this is over 25 years ago and games have obviously evolved a lot since then. Having said that, it really is a nice symbol of what made Nintendo stand out in the 1980's with more interactive games and innovative technology that warmed the 'fat lady's' vocal chords so she could sing about Aladdin's Castle's demise. With ROB, the gun, Power Pad and numerous others Nintendo utilized a lot of the hardware from that generation and returned, somewhat, with the very successful Wii.
It just looks so cool, it screams the well known 80's phrase "number 5 is alive" !!!!!!!
