Hybrid of old Pokemon game + Pokemon Go

Hybrid of old Pokemon game + Pokemon Go
The game itself needs to be redeemed through eShop through the given digital code rather than pre-loaded as advertised in some places. As for the game itself -You can't battle with wild Pokemon anymore, you can only feed berries and catch it like Pokemon Go. As for special Pokemons such as Snorlax and legendaries, you will need to defeat it first in order to catch it. -Can only battle with trainers. -Pokemon abilities are removed. No more annoying sturdy from rock type Pokemons. -Pokemon can get REALLY overpowering if you have enough specific candies to raise it stats. My shiny Vulpix has almost 3k CP at only lvl 20+. -Shining Pokemon is A LOT easier to catch with the new combo system. -You can easily fill your Pokedex by transferring Pokemons through your Pokemon Go account. You can even get the new Pokemon Meltan by doing so!

Mine came in just fine no damage. This is my 1st switch I pre-orderd it due to having major surgery and id be stuck in bed for a bit. I really am enjoying the system and eevee. Deffently one of the better Bundles out for the Holidays. Update :::: I do see this game that came with the sytem kid friendy being in and out of awakeness to play found it enjoyable and easy to keep up. Its nothing like yellow I grew up with but still is as fun.

Arrived quickly, came brand new with everything in the box as expected. Set up was easy, console in perfect condition, functions correctly. The game Let's go Pikachu/Let's go Eevee is a remake of the classic Pokemon Yellow with a Pokemon GO style catching feature, fantastic to play through, the only difference between the two games is some pokemon are Let's Go Pikachu exclusive and some are Let's Go Eevee exclusive, you get the starter based on which game you choose to buy. Highly recommend this bundle for pokemon fans.

I really love this particular bundle because it is one of the only bundles I have seen that come with joy-cons are different colors than the normal black or blue and red. I personally find that along with the added poke-ball and cute etching on the back and dock, to be worth the extra money.
However I will say that it does work just as fine as the normal edition, and if the above aesthetics, and poke-ball (which by its self tends to be about $100 new and can be purchased separately) do not matter to you, then the normal switch bundles are perfectly good, and you will not miss out on practically anything.

I saw a lot of reviews saying that they got the wrong game so I got a little worried before mine came. But I had no need. I got the Eevee one and my kids have enjoyed playing it whenever they get the chance to. I will say the battery doesn’t last long off the charger (about 3 hours) but we have it hooked up to our tv more often than not so it doesn’t bother us. Overall, I’m happy that I made the choice to buy a switch for the family.

It's not too bad. However, I bought the let's go Eevee Edition and got the let's go Pikachu edition. The consoles are the same and it looks great but I didn't get what I paid for. I also thought I was buying it brand new, and it may be to an extent, but the box was clearly opened as if someone went through it and then closed it back up. All in all it's decent oh, everything seems to be looking brand new but it's the wrong game. It did come in on time though. I should have just bought the Pikachu version though and saved myself a little bit of money.

I gave this a one-star because I received let's go Pikachu instead of the let's go Eevee. Since I never received my initial product I ordered, I have to 1 * it. I'm visually impaired, so if you are sensitive to certain forms of LED lights, make sure you order a dimmer screen or a anti blue light filter for Nintendo switch. Overall the product is fine. You wonder why I didn't return it. I didn't realize I would have the wrong product until I registered the product onto my Nintendo account. When starting up the device, they clearly State during setup that once you set this up it cannot be undone or reversed. So I had a sense that I was stuck with it. And no I did not notice there was a Pikachu on the cover. Nephew was so excited to receive it he didn't tell me until later after the setup. Amazon agents was very helpful and understanding. It was easy step-by-step instructions and they gave me a gift card credit for the difference of the product.

I have to write a review. I ordered this for my daughter for Christmas. The first bundle came and by day two it was doing this orange screen and she was losing all her saved progress. It was awful so I tried to get a return. We can’t get a return through Nintendo but the seller was awesome and sent us a new one. The second one we received doesn’t turn orange but she still loses her saved progress all the time and she doesn’t even want to use it anymore because there is no point. I don’t know what the issue is all I know is 400$ was completely wasted. The bundle in theory is adorable and awesome but in performance for us it sucks.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great console with a gimmicky but fun bundled game
Reviewed in India on November 2, 2019
Platform: Nintendo SwitchEdition: Switch Let's Go, Eevee! BundleVerified Purchase
I bought this recently even though the new version of Switch (not Switch Lite, which in my view is a waste of money) was recently released due to the obnoxiously high price of Pokeball Plus (which is a must've if you're gonna play Pokemon games on Switch) and the Let's Go Eevee game itself.

The price here seems reasonable as when you add up the full price for the set it comes up to 32K as well - Console itself averages 22-24K + 3.7 - 4K for the Pokeball Plus (which is not available in Indian retail so one must order it online, which adds more custom duty price) + beyond 4K for the game itself averaging 30-32K INR.

Anyway price tag withstanding, the gaming library is excellent. For Indian gamers, getting games physically outside of the flagships (Mario, Zelda, Pokemon etc.) will be hard but one can buy Nintendo e-shop cards off of websites like Play-Asia using a credit card or PayPal accounts to buy them. And if you do, you'll be thrown into the world of some marvellous titles like Fire Emblem Three Houses, Dragon Quest series and all. The library itself makes the hefty price tag for the console worth it.

While Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee is a remake of the third game in the series Pokemon Yellow, it implements a lot of new mechanics into the series. Now catching Pokemon is styled similar to Pokemon Go and first for the series, the game supports local co-op gaming where you can team-up with one of your friend or family member to battle or catch Pokemon alongside you. Another big change to the game is removal of PC, now you can have access to Pokemon you catch from at any moment without having to visit a Pokemon Centre to access the PC. This is an excellent change for some of the meta players out there. Another juicy change for meta players is the addition of the AV mechanic. There are some flaws to the games as well. For e.g limited Pokedex (Although this might be because it's a remake of Yellow), removal of GTS, and requirement of Nintendo Switch (similar to Xbox Live and Playstation Plus) to play online (costs about 1.5K INR for a year worth of subscription). Another noteworthy thing is that the game doesn't support PokeBank, so you cannot transfer your Pokemon any of the previous games so far. Although a similar app is announced by Nintendo, so this won't be a problem in the future.

Aside from the game, the console has quite a limited life if you play triple A games on handled (ranges from 2 and a half to 6 hours). Another problem I noticed was the Wi-Fi receiver is weak, so you'll barely get 1-2 signal if you're not in the same room as the router. Also the handheld mode is a tad too uncomfortable to play with due to the sheer size of the console (it's fixable using some handheld accessories though). Also, the analog sticks are too small and lack grip (fixable using third party accessories).

All in all, the game library makes it a must-buy console for any gamer. Although the hardware faults, hard to access software titles and the higher price tag for a console with lower performance value than PS4 (Pro) and Xbox (S) might make it a confusing buy for some. Still, I'd recommend it if you can afford the higher-priced games (the games generally cost more than an average PS4 game) and have means of purchasing them.
