This controller would get a five if it worked out of the box. When it first arrived it would not work. I realized the cable itself might have issues with a firm connection to the controller so I opened it up and voila, it worked perfectly.

The grips feel great, the weight feels great, the ten ft cable reaches everywhere in the room, the two mappable buttons on the back come in handy, (I use them mostly to swap out an analogue stick click) but the winner-winner-chicken-dinner is that mic man. So clean, so clear. I bought it for DC Universe Online for switch and I cant praise it enough.

Oh the only other downside is that unbelievably terrible noise that notifies you when you've turned the volume to max. Whoever ok’d that is a psychopath.

Mappable buttons, ability to communicate with friends in games that the idiotic Nintendo switch online app does not support (wish Nintendo would just integrate chat into the system) this controller is a great alternative to that. What's not to like? Ultra comfortable, the blue cammo is a nice touch. Hard wired, don't have to worry about charging or changing out batteries. Wire also has plenty of length. You guys knocked this one out of the park! Hands down greatest switch controller of all time. Illl never use a other as long as this one keeps working.

Faulty audio jack

At first I was really impressed about the quality of the controller. For 25 bucks you won't get any controller near as good as this one. You can map any buttons on the paddles on the back or you can unmap them completely if you wish to (read the manual guys...duh)

But when it comes to the main feature I bought this controller for it completely disappointed because the audio jack is not working properly. When speaking into the mic, you can actually hear yourself speaking through the headphones. Tried three different headsets, with Fortnite, Warframe and even tested in the Windows 10 audio settings. When using the audio jack of the switch console itself everything is working fine, so it has to be the audio jack or rather the controller itself being faulty.

Getting a refund on this one sadly.

Controller itself is pretty nice. When comparing it with the Pro Switch Controller, it definitely feels lighter, and the plastic used definitely makes the controller feel "cheaper" (because, well, it is significantly cheaper than the Pro Switch Controller), most notably the top of the analog sticks feel quite different and the buttons sort of press differently, but doesn't make the controller unusable or anything like that. On the Switch, everything works perfectly. The two buttons on the back are bound to both B and X, but these can be remapped easily, and remapping them to themselves essentially disables them (I had to do this since I would hit them accidentally all the time). You can also take the whole back cap off, but that makes the controller kind of awkward to hold.

So I made the assumption that this controller would be compatible with PC, but read the dev response saying it wasn't. However, I was in fact able to connect this to my computer, and it was recognized both in controller emulating software like x360ce, and also it was recognized in Steam. If you go to the Big Picture Controller Settings, you're able to add this controller as a "Generic Controller," and then you can map each button appropriately. I then switched the settings to recognize it as xbox 360 controller (I think), and was able to use the controller to play Rocket League. I also plugged my headset into the controller, and was able to change my audio output and input to the controller in discord, and it worked perfectly. I haven't tested the voice features on switch yet, but I was not able to get the push-to-talk button to work for PC (yet).

I would imagine that if you wanted to get this controller to work on a non-Steam game, you'd probably have to use some sort of emulation software (like x360ce), however I've had a lot of luck just adding games as non-Steam games. Anything run by Steam has full controller support; in fact, I've added the whole Epic Launcher as a non-Steam game, just so I could have the controller support over all Epic titles (including Fortnite). I recommend this route if you plan on using the controller for a non-Steam game.

I'll update my review if I find any issues!

TLDR: Great controller for the price, feels kind of cheap but what can you expect from a significantly lower priced controller. Does have PC support, but takes just a little bit of setting up.

Ho notato questo controller mesi fa grazie alla presenza di una porta jack audio da 3,5mm e, data la curiosità, ho deciso di acquistarlo per provarlo e fare anche un regalo.
Dato il prezzo proposto a cui l'ho comprato, non mi aspettavo di certo un controller con chissà quali funzioni - nonostante la licenza ufficiale Nintendo -ma sono rimasto sorpreso da alcune cose che non mi aspettavo a questo prezzo (seppur siano scritte nella descrizione che ho ignorato erroneamente): la prima è la presenza di due bottoni programmabili sul retro, fanno sempre comodo; la seconda è la possibilità di cambiare la parte frontale del controller, personalizzandolo - non ne sento la necessità perché la qualità del plate fornito è incredibilmente alta, soprattutto la texture ruvida piacevolissima al tatto.
La funzione principale, ovvero il jack per le cuffie, ma il suo sporco lavoro ma una volta raggiunto il volume massimo - regolabile tramite il pad - ti avverte con un suono veramente fastidioso.
Il cavo è esageratamente lungo, oltre i tre metri e qui vorrei dire semplicemente GRAZIE perché lo scopo di questo controller è attaccare le cuffie che, a causa del cavo, non arrivano alla console.
Nell'insieme mi sono trovato molto bene, a parte l'assenza di controlli di movimento e rumble.
Lo consiglio moltissimo.

El diseño y la sensación de los botones estában más que perfectos, de verdad me encantaba el control pues usaba el jack 3.5mm para fornite y además era perfecto para smash.
Pesé a todo lo anterior a las dos semanas de uso ambos sticks(palancas) empezaron a fallar, tenían algo parecido al drift de los joycon, solo que en este caso hacía a la palanca demasiado sensible, lo que provocaba movimientos dentro del juego demasiado bruscos.
Una pena ya que si vale la pena si funcionará bien.

These are fab so far for the switch. Allows you to plug headphones direct into controller. Do us it saves the dock being pulled off the shelf when playing on the telly. Would be great if wireless too but the lead is nice and long so no more sitting close and still to the telly
