Great Case, Difficult Fit

This is a great case design, but I've been having a lot of trouble finding the right size. I carry an iPhone 6 with a tight-fitting Otterbox Strada case. This Nite Ize case is slightly too small to fit it and the flap, though it will catch some of the velco closure, is too short. However, the next size up is WAY too big... I have tried and returned two other sizes trying to get one that works. So I hope this case will stretch a bit in width and depth as I use it, but be sure of your fit before buying.

Not good for a tandem t:slim or t:flex

I ordered this case for use with my insulin pump, based on another review that said it worked well for a Medtronic pump. My insulin pump is a Tandem t:Flex, which is a completely different type of pump, although it is about the same size. I found that when I put my pump into this case, the elastic on the side pressed the push-button on the top of the pump, causing an alarm about one minute later that said that all insulin delivery was being stopped. I was able to repeat this several times. I believe that after the elastic gets "broken in" a bit and loses its stiffness, it might work OK. But if you have a Tandem pump, you should be aware of this potential problem. The case itself is well-made, as are all of the Nite-Ize cases I've ever used. For the purpose it was designed - a cell phone case - it is very good. I'm trying to use it for a different purpose.

Makes a Great Portable Toolbox

I use this case as a portable toolbox. I carry a Leatherman Charge AL, Leatherman - Charge® AL Multi-Tool, Stainless Steel with Nylon Sheath , a Leatherman Bit Set Leatherman 931014 40-Bit Assortment for Leatherman Bit Drivers , a Leatherman Bit Extension Leatherman 931009 Bit Driver Extension and a ThorFire TG06 Flashlight ThorFire TG06 LED Flashlight CREE XP-G2 LED Tactical Flashlight 3 Mode EDC Torch Light Powered By One AA or 14500 Battery Not Included. This is on my belt at nearly all times and has proven to be invaluable on more than one occasion. I service equipment for a living and I always reach for this first. The case and the tools that go in it aren't cheap but everything I carry is worth every penny. There is a pocket for the bits, a loop inside for the bit driver and space for the Leatherman tool and the flashlight. It isn't ideal to have the Leatherman right next to the flashlight because it wears the coating off the body of the flashlight but I'm going to try this:Leatherman Charge Tactical Tool Holder/belt Clip (Flat black) to keep the Leatherman away from the flashlight.

Misleading description. The case I received is nowhere near the description! Description says it is 4x7x2. The case I got is 5x3x1.5. I am returning it. Very disgusted as I had spent a lot of time trying to find the right case and this should have fit according to the description. Totally bummed!

LOVE this case. I use it to hold my medtronic insulin pump. I dislike the cases from the medtronic company because it gets loose easily and they tend to be very expensive. This case clips onto my jeans and stays there all day without a problem, the velcro is perfect because magnets mess up my pump, and the thin cover on top is great as it allows the tubing of the pump to stay out without needing to cut a hole into the fabric. This is the second case I am buying (my dog got ahold of my old one and tore up the clip) and I can't wait to get it. Will always come back.

Bulky but great protection

Don't expect this to be low profile- it will stick out on your belt. It's great for construction workers or other rugged professions. The clip is heavy duty plastic that has a hook on it so it wont leave your belt without you wanting it to. I myself use it for a wireless lav microphone transmitter- the top flap is shaped so that it allows the antenna to peek out. Heavy duty and priced fairly.

tough case, and a fair price

The case does exactly what it is supposed to. Though the clip flexes to allow you to put it on while already wearing your belt, I recommend putting it on and taking it off when you put your belt on and off because it is a real pain otherwise; but all that to say that this thing will not come off your belt period unless you mean it to. The construction is very durable and I will probably have it longer than I need it. I work a demanding job that is tough on my phone and case, but this case takes it all and my phone is confidently secure. Would buy again.

It is easy to put on or take off, but because of it's design it stays attached and doesn't come off by itself. With it's "double hook" design I can take it off after work and put it on my regular pants belt too.
