Bought this for ultrarunning with plan to fasten to my hydration pack (headlamps don't work well for me). The lights are very lightweight and the included velcro straps allow multiple attachment options. Worked great with my backup phone powerbank made by a different manufacturer and the lights on the low setting were more than enough in the 4am darkness of a training run to light up the area about 20 feet ahead and to the sides. Will be purchasing one of nitecore waterproof power banks for my races since you never know when a surprise storm might pop up.

If you want this to fit around your waist you need to be under 80 lbs in weight. Seriously, who can fit this around their belly/hips?? I'm not fat and there is no way to wear this running. The other issue is you HAVE to keep it plugged into a power bank for it to work.I don't want to run carrying a power bank. No charge and go, it must be connected to light. Is it bright? Yes, if you can find a wear to keep this secure on your running vest while bouncing around for hours on end. Not for me, returned. Also, you have to provide your own packaging and be able to print a label to return this. It cost me $4 dollars just to send it back.
