Nix and Scotlyn: The Wedding by Tess Oliver is a book that I know everyone is going to enjoy as much as I did! What I love the most about it is that it is the fifth book in the Custom culture series and I enjoyed all of those books so much, along with Strangely Normal, and then this book comes along and it is like icing on the cake.

This book is about Nix and Scotlyn of course but we also get to see what has been going on in not just their lives since the last book Rett came out, but in all of the other characters we have come to know and love as well! All of them are there, Rett, Dray, and Clutch, Cassie, Taylor, and Finley! As well as others.

Of course just like in everyday life, weddings can be a very trying and emotional thing to deal with and this holds true in this book as well! But with a great deal of help from Cassie, who plans the perfect wedding for Nix and Scotlyn, and with Taylor creating beautiful bridesmaid dresses and Scotlyn's wedding dress, and sewing all of them herself, it just makes everything much more special. Add to that Finley's Father, a famous rocker, allows them to have the wedding at his mansion, and is going to perform, this is going to be the wedding you will not want to miss.

A lot of other things happen, that are heartbreaking, especially for Nix, and something else happens to Scotlyn that tears her up and makes Nix feels helpless about what to do, but in the end between that and of course the infamous Taylor getting Clutch all riled up as usual, and other little scenarios, what we wind up getting from this book is a whole lot of joy in reading it, and watching two of our favorite characters from Tess Oliver's Custom Culture series getting their happily ever after!

Tess Oliver has outdone herself with this beautiful story of Nix and Scotlyn and their journey to the altar. You would think there isn't more to tell in their story after Freefall (Custom Culture #1), but this story has all the things you look for in a love story......yes they're together but there are still obstacles to be overcome......bliss, tears, angst, and sexual's all there! This is a great addition to the Custom Culture series, and I hope she isn't done yet. I think all the guys in this series have more stories to tell...(hint hint!)

The gangs all back; Rhett (The wild ladies man who finally gave his heart), Finlay (who despite her struggles with anxiety managed to tame Rhett), Dray (A fighter with a pension for sticky situations, a wild appetite, and shh, don’t tell the other guys, but my personal favorite), Cassie (the artistic photographer, assistant at Freefall and the woman constantly bailing the previously mentioned sexy fighter out of messes), Clutch (The Viking, car mogul with a draw to a certain young red-head trouble maker, and Taylor (Clutch’s guilty trouble maker). That’s everyone right? Hell no! We have our original Custom Culture meant-to-be couple, Nix Pierce and Scotlyn James. This group of characters forms a rowdy group, of friends, lovers, family that we have all grown to adore through the Custom Culture Series and now we finish it off with The Wedding. I could not wait to see what Tess had in store for them and now that I have I am feeling a little bittersweet about it. It was more than I expected but I am also sad to say goodbye to these characters and their stories.

In my opinion and I’m sure yours, Nix and Scotlyn belong together. Fate, kismet, destiny, something worked to make these two find each other. They have become family to one another. Scotlyn grounds and centers Nix while he hears and understand her even when she isn’t saying what she feels. They each found the perfect characteristics in each other for what they needed in the next stage of their lives.

Now that each member in the group has found their other half, in The Wedding we get to see how they all interact together. How the girls become like sisters and how the guys would do anything for each other and for the ones their boys love.

Have you ever heard "All good things come to an end?" Well, that is exactly what we have here. The fifth and final 5 star read in the Custom Culture series. The conclusion that brings all the characters and relationships full circle. It is not a standalone and should read in order. I also recommend enjoying Strangely Normal since the characters overlap and some subject matter is referenced.
Give yourself enough time to complete once you begin. Totally captivating and entertaining. It is next to impossible to put it down. There is a painful need to know what happens next.
Reconnect with all those roles and storylines that made each book so special. You will discover that falling even deeper in love and lust is possible.
Please be advised that kleenexes and a cold shower or two may be needed. There were moments of complete emotional destruction. I mean loose your breath crying. Wondering if your heart has actually just broken into a million pieces. Wishing you were able to slap a face or two.Laughing and searching for answers. Then those scenes that made the room temperature go up a few degrees. Dang!!!
It was nice to have the storyline center around the initial couple of series. Kind of a back to where it all began. Throw in some shock, drama, action, and resolutions for a superb read. Excellent dialogue and environmental inclusions to support storyline.
It really is difficult to recognize and acknowledge that there will be no more additions to this magnificent series. If it had to end, there was no better way. A perfect ending to a stay with you forever fairy tale series.I highly recommend reading!!! I hope and tend to beg for a change in the no more status. I need more. AndreaGH (less)
