Timeteller P watch from Nixon. When i first got it, it was still in the new box and IT LOOKS SEXY. Awesome, you should most def buy this and this isn't a joke! GO FOR White/black
I like the watch, don't get me wrong, but it really isn't worth 50-55 dollars. I thought it would be a little bit sturdier than it is, so i decided that it looked cool enough to go for it, and while it does look cool, it's made out of a pretty cheap feeling plastic.
I had been looking for a white watch for quite some time, so my girlfriend got me this Nixon Time Teller watch for my birthday. And I absolutely love it.
Basically, what you see is what you get. It looks great, and it gets compliments like NO OTHER.
I've only had it about a month and a half, and I've probably received at least 20 compliments on it already. The first time I wore it, I probably got 3 comments on it... people from the bank comment on it, friends of friends who I have just met, people I set next to at student org meetings, everyone.
I love attention, and this watch definitely attracts it. Get this watch if you want a nice fashion piece that you'll probably get complimented on more than if you spent $1000 on another watch.
These are really nice watches, but I would highly advise against getting one in the matte finish.
I have the green, blue, and turquoise Time Teller P Matte watch, and it wears off really quick (I've only worn it about 4 times). It seems to be wearing off from a bit of water/sweat from behind and simply from rubbing against anything (long sleeves) on the face. It still looks alright underneath, but the matte finish is what made it look really good.
I read another review where the same thing happened and Nixon charges to refinish the watch in matte. It's apparently not covered under the warranty - it's just a cheap matte finish that is now peeling all over.
The strange thing is that I don't recall this happening to my previous Nixon watch in the same style (which I had to exchange because it had a defective face) and I wore that one more often.
I'm a it wild, so my watches band does get dirty (its white, so that's what happens). Mine doesn't look like how it does in the picture. The little time markers are white, instead of gray, so a bunch of smart guys at my school ask me how i can tell time if there aren't any markers, and then I show them and Quite honestly, only the person wearing the watch would ever be able to see that the tick marks are there. Its goes under water, which is why i got it. I have lost to many watches to water, so this was perfect for me. The bottom line is that i like the watch, and i think you will to.
I bought this watch from a mall in Annapolis, MD back in '09. It was the Black and Orange Time Teller. I have worn this watch swimming, showering, diving, bumped it more than a couple of times on various objects, re-adjusted multiple times, and it is still going strong. It is accurate, at least for me, up to the second. The components have not become waterlogged and the patent pending clasp lock works phenomenally. It's waterproof for 100 Meters and it tells time accurately. No gimmicks, no tricks, just a really swell watch.
