This book has all the ingredients of a thriller that you can't put down but yet has a depth that appeals to your soft side.

Right from the beginning you are reeled in. So gently that you don't realize that you are hooked until you try to take a break from reading it!!

For me, the sentence on the first page, reading

"Ben and Jenny Miller were practical people and neither were especially gifted, so what profound twist of fate delivered unto them a child who knew far too much of pasts, presents and futures?" was the hook that landed me and there was no letting up.

Fabulous writing, great plot, true to the high caliber story telling that is expected of Julie Harris. Can't recommend it enough!

Julie Harris has successfully given us a fictional supernatural-thriller interwoven with a love story that will play on your heart and keep you speculating at every turn. This story is captivating and beautifully written with characters that will keep you engaged throughout.

Rebecca Miller is a gifted and highly sought after psychic who can achieve miraculous healing with the touch of her hands. Although she is wanted for her gifts she is very lonely and longs for someone to notice her for who she is not what she can do.

Commander Kelly Nolan is a Navy SEAL and has been painting portraits of Rebecca for the last 15 years though they have never met. Nolan has psychic ability of his own and a connection with Rebecca that is undeniable.

I found myself involved in this story from the start. The characters were dynamic and thought provoking. The dialogue is realistic and written with compassion and attention to detail. The story contains multiple sub-plots and is presented as a wonderfully interconnected tale involving a definite sense of spirituality and morals that is totally relatable. The suspense and mystery will pull you into the story and you will find this book hard to put down.

This fascinating story will appeal to readers of all genres and I highly recommend it.

No Exit hooked me on the first page and never let go. I stayed up reading until I couldn't focus anymore. I loved Rebecca and Kelly, but the others, Mac, Steve, Mitch . . . they drew me right in. I laughed and cried with them all. A really good story (even if the woman from Georgia sounded a bit strange :-)

No Exit by Julie Harris focuses on the story of Rebecca Miller, who happens to be one of the most gifted psychics this world has ever seen. Not only can she occassionally read minds, she also predicts future events, sees glimpses of people's past and has a connection with an Angel guide named Emmanuel. She can heal the injured, wounded and even the dying. In one instance, she even manages to return from death herself. But naturally, all these gifts come with a very high price. Her own father is afraid of her and has been ignoring her for years. Everyone she meets is interested in what she can do - not in who she really is. She has never gotten any further than a first date with anyone - and she's already thirty years old. People are lining up to talk to her, but the only true friend she has is her assistant, Annie.

All of that changes, initially for the worst, when she is stopped at the airport in England by a bunch of Nighthawks, a special elite group of soldiers. Two years prior, Rebecca gave a reading to Elizabeth Glover, wife of senator Glover who is now running for president. In that meeting she warned Elizabeth about a possible attack on John Glover's life. Now, it seems as if her offered advice comes back to kick her in the back. The special Nighthawke forces want to know what's going on, when the senator's life will be in danger and how they can stop it. To do that, Rebecca will have to tell them all she can.

Unfortunately, on the way to the helicopter, Rebecca gets shot. Straight through her heart. She dies on the spot. Miraculously enough, she comes back to live an hour and a half later, after consulting with her celestial guide and claiming she still has some work to finish on earth.

Most unusual circumstances but enjoyable reading. If you are into thinking that certain people have the ability to return after death and with that they have the ability to heal and read thoughts of others, then you experience an unusual but interesting story. Just think, a healer!

This is an amazing find. I didnt know much about this author and was just browsing the Amazon with Psychic as a theme and god am i glad i did this search. This book is everything you could ask for. the most amazing thing about this book is the way its been written, you just cant help but become a believer. I could not put this book down for even a second . I just had to read it and when i reached the end, i was sorry that it ended. For once i was enjoying reading a book rather than just focussing on the story and waiting for whats there at the end.

Rebecca is a pro psychic who has come to understand her capabilities and is more than willing to use them in helping others around her. What she fights for most is for people to treat her like a person rather than "That thing" a freak ...For those who have benefitted by her gift cant help but hold a special place for her. A session with a woman where she informs the woman that her husband will be the next President of united states and that he has a real threat to his life if he travels to england before he becomes the president.

2 years after this session , Rebecca finds herself being taken away by Military guys from the London Airport where she was supposedly visiting for psychic comference. Before she can reach the Military base she is shot and is dead for couple of hours before she comes back into life again. The guy (kelly) who was there to pick her from the airport has been painting her for last fifteen years without knowling who she is . kelly is also a Psychic with "remote Viewing" skills.
