Hannah uses the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, to explain his belief that we are entitled to the same relationship with God that Jesus experienced while on Earth, and that includes having direct communication, as well as having access to the power and influence of the Holy Spirit. Using examples from the Bible and in life, Hannah shows us that Jesus is our prototype, and that if we stand firm in our faith, His inheritance from God is also our inheritance.
I now recognize the thoughts that distance me from God. I see the difference between living and raising my children 'in Christ', as opposed to 'in society', 'the school system', or even in 'the church', which all have their own faults. If I stop panicking and stop centering my faith around my short-comings and my sins, I can fulfill my potential well beyond my expectations and encourage my children to do the same, through God, which is His Plan A.
I noticed a few reviews that recommend No Plan B for people who are already of a Christian faith, and I have to disagree. Even if it is curiosity, desperation, or skepticism that propels someone to pick up this book, there is room for revelation. Nelson Hannah gives a refreshing first step to getting on the right path in life: understand that your identity is in Jesus Christ and claim your inheritance from God!
"Our identity ensures our inheritance. Sadly, most of God's children, offspring of the King---Royal sons and daughters---live out our lives in silent mediocrity, scrounging for scraps in the garbage cans of theological amnesia totally blank about true identity. This book will help you in discovering it, but it will be your responsibility to embrace it and walk in it." These are the words of Nelson Hannah himself. Great book! Great read!
