This album makes clear why Rage Against the Machine needed Zack de la Rocha, and why Zack de la Rocha needed Rage Against the Machine--nicely intensive lyrics, good energy, though the quality of the playing behind Zack just isn't as sharp or creative.

If this CD had the sound quality of the Rage releases it would be another instant classic from Zack. He would have been just fine if he'd dedicated his career pursuits to punk. It would be cool if he someday chooses to re-record it. The sound is kind of crappy for my tastes, but I expected that considering small-label release in the early-mid-90s.

It came in on time boxed up appropriately and in great condition. Works great and sounds great on my Victrola.

Badass underground sounding punk thrash from one of my favorite song writers. No rap rock, just heavy cutting guitars and screaming. For 1990, De La Rocha has some pretty harsh vocals. Though they're not perfected, its still raw as hell.

Great experience, great seller! Sent many extras, thank you so much!

I always enjoy exploring music, particularly the music people made before they were famous. If you are looking for early Rage, this is not it, but if you wanna see what Zach (or any of the other members) was doing early in his career, it is worth checking out.

Zach, pre-RATM. No, rap, just rock!!! He kicks @ss in this album. I just recently bought it after losing the cd many moons ago. Felt nastalgic.

This ep ROCKS!!!. I used to have a copy of it (stolen) and it is one of my all time favorite hardcore albums. Please, wake up. The members of "Inside Out" were the SAME members as Rage Against the Machine, minus Tom Morello.

I'm not a particularly political mind, but I enjoyed this a lot.
If you're interested in the records that Dischord were releasing in their early days, this could easily be something you'll enjoy.
Plus it's practically an early 'superground' members of Rage against the machine, Gorilla Biscuits, Alien Ant Farm (previous drummer, Shelter, Hardstance & Drive Like Jehu.
Zack isn't really on par with his later work, but his anger is real and his voice is still distinctive.
As a casual listener in the hardcore/punk genre, I enjoyed this quite a lot.

I was happy to discover Zack de la Rocha first band before RATM. It's really good! The only thing is that it's really short
