Although both share the same premise- NO STRINGS ATTACHED, no relationships, therefore, no hurt- these stories explore the feelings and outcomes of throwing away the no strings rule and falling in love.
Both stories are a poignant reminder of the obstacles we sometimes have to face in order to fight for True Love. These independent women want to stand on their own two feet. Both have inner strength but very different financial circumstances. Moving on and dealing with the consequences of a love affair can take different paths. The issue at heart is discovering what is a priority and standing firm.
Poignant and gripping, both stories are great reads!
There was cheating in Forever Yours, which is usually a topic that turns me off in a book. However, given the circumstances, the cheating didn't bother me in this book. I kept hoping for everyone to get the HEA they deserve.
These books are written in third person POV. I had a little trouble connecting to the characters, but it did eventually happen.
The other thread between both stories involves pregnancy which both fathers were totally unaware for a couple of years.
Forever Yours was a bit messier with twists and turns and stark racism thrown in the mix. However , because of the unpredictability of the events it makes the story a real page turner. No Strings Attached had me attached and spellbound throughout.
