This book is amazing. If Lysander were alive today, he would see almost all of his predictions and observations be made manifest. Note: If you buy this (and you should), please note section 17 where Spooner states that there is no Public Corporation called "THE UNITED STATES" which derived its powers from acquiescence of the masses. -He published in 1870, and in 1871, The Act of 1871 was passed- effectively creating a LLC insurance company indeed called "THE UNITED STATES". Creepy right?

Very well written. Mandatory for the serious student who wishes to challenge the constitutionality of any law. Common law students must consider this book to be high on their reading list And well worth rereading.

A "must read!" Most people have no clue what the constitution's "authority" really is. Written in 1870. It explains in plain language what few "highly educated" people would dare tell you: It's a contract you never signed so you are not a party to it and it has NO authority to guide you or this nation. It cannot be used in court because nobody alive today can show standing to claim it is a valid contract. It is a document used by power people of the past to control and extract money from their victims at the point of a gun and is used in the same fashion today. If you think you are free just try to act like it and see how quickly you are labeled a traitor.
