Noah's Ark is a wonderful game to help children learn while still having fun. My Children absolutely love this game, I have a hard time getting it away from them. I would highly recommend buying this game for any child and it would make a great gift this holiday!

I gave my 3 year old a DSi for Christmas and a few games, including Noah's Ark. After showing him how to play this game once or twice, he has gotten the hang of it and always wants to play. The mini games are easy enough and keep his attention. There is a story of Noah's Ark and it's read to him so he loves that also. I highly recommend this for the younger kids, as it's fun and educational!

My daughter will be 4 years old next month and I have been working with her on writing her ABC's. I have taken her magna-doodle and made dots of different letters for her to trace. She just would not do it. One day I gave her my Nintendo DS and set it to PictoChat and just let her doodle on it. Then I decided to draw dots again for her to trace. To my amazement, she finally traced the letter A. Shortly after this, she was able to draw the letter A on her own. I don't know why she preferred to do it this way, but whatever works! So I started wondering if there was a DS game for her age that actually had a program for tracing the alphabet letters. I looked and looked and they all seemed pretty silly with bad reviews, then I came across this game. The reviews looked good so I took the chance. I just got it today, I played it first to be able to show her how to do it. It is really cute game and the graphics are amazing! It starts off with the story of Noah and the Ark. Then after you listen to the story one time, the activities open up.

What I REALLY thought was neat was that you have the option of having the touch screen be on the left side. This is really nice considering how my daughter is left handed. Wow! And I didn't even know about this feature when I bought it. I found the area where she can trace the alphabet letters and you do can do Uppercase or Lowercase letters which is nice. Then after you trace it, they tell you the name of the animal that starts with that letter. She traced every letter from A - Z twice in a row and is already identifying the letters. Woo Hoo!

There are about 10 games in all, and they are just right for her age group! I am super happy I found this game. (By the way, I might just sell her Leapster 2 now, beacause the DS has a much better picture and sound! Just wish they would make more educational games for her age group.)

I have this game for my 3 yr (boy) old and 5 yr old (girl). They both LOVE it! Even at different ages (& learning stages), are able to play the game on a level that is fun for them. My daughter is very creative and so this is fun from her from that angle. It keeps the two of them engaged for quite a while! I am impressed with how my lil guy has taken to the game and has been learning to write his letters in this! Its amazing because his attention span is exactly what you'd imagine a 3 yr old energetic little boy to be. He is actually playing and learning on his own and feels a proud sense of accomplishment. I love that! They have so much FUN! I have been raving about this to all my mommy friends! A great gift - must have!!!!!

I bought this for my 8 1/2 year old granddaughter. I asked her if she liked it and she said not really. When I asked her why, she stated that it was kinda of babyish. So I would recommend it for 4-6 year olds.

I purchased this game for my 4-year old (Bday present). She is not fully coordinated to play every DS game, but I prefer to look/purchase learning toys when possible. Noah's Ark is simply overloaded with fun, entertainment, and even teaching games. There are some interactive things while story is being read (but it's not what makes the game). I love the fact that at 4 years old, she can play every game without help, I can play the games and actually enjoy them and feel challenged, while she also has an array of options to choose from that both teach and challenge her on her level. I know she traces the letters, but as for learning, not sure of it's effect. I have purchased other DS games for toddlers, they do not compare, the game is old quickly and characters become out of date, no worries with Noah's Ark.LOL

They favorite thing about this game that my 6 year old likes the most, is the button that takes you to the actual story of Noah. The story is read to you and you can touch some of the animals and they make sounds and move.
