This book is very funny. I laughed out loud many times. But I think it's also very original, at least I've never seen anything like it. It takes almost every aspect of a book - title and author, length of chapters, subject matter, the publication process itself - and turns it on its head. Even the index is little more than an excuse for more humor. And I think the whole premise that this is a man writing his life story should be taken with a grain of salt; it's a loose framework at most, since unrelated comedy pieces are dropped in at what appears to be complete random. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to any of it - which I suspect is the point. The book embraces irrationality with great verve, even joy. It's a very fast read and may take you only a few of hours to get through it, but they will be hours well spent. Five stars, hands down.

My favorites: Chapter 32, Chapter 43 relates to everything nowadays, I love Windows you get outsourced to Bangladesh or Calcutta, Dubai for $89.99 @ month I will solve your problem sir… For English press 1 for Spanish press 2 what about all the others cultures/races in our very diverse USA. Chapter 50, I’ve lived in 13 different states, Mexico & Canada. Chapter 54, Chapter 61, & Chapter 62. I think this book is an oxymoron.

A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well hilarious sarcastic satire written book. It was very easy to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. No grammar errors, repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. 1 I didn’t put down. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars.

Thank you for the free book

I have to say this book is unique. It's humorous, zany, imaginative, consistently amusing and downright "laugh out loud" funny at times. It's like a book-version of"The Daily Show" aimed at the past 50 years. Somehow, in a little more than 200 pages (and a quick read), the author manages to satirize men, women, sex, love, dating, marriage, movies, TV, books, music, the Boomers, the Boomers parents, childhood, adolescence, school, work, technology, religion, politics, the government, most presidents, a couple of vice presidents, aliens, and a whole bunch of other things....basically all of modern society. But it's not some sort of nasty satire. And there are very sweet stories about a mam missing his hometown, a couple who could be happy together if either of them could overcome their narcissism, and an old man finally realizing he doesn't want to live his life without love. Individually, these stories and essays are by turns silly or satirical. Taken together they add up to a wonderfully entertaining look at our world.

This book is hilarious, especially for those of us who remember the first mission to the moon. I enjoyed the satirical outlook on the world and the author's lifelong response to it. The book covers topics from childbirth to old age and from politics to sex, all with tongue firmly planted in cheek. You can brighten your day in just a few minutes with its easy to read short chapters. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking to laugh out loud!
