About the Author
NOBODY'S CHILD is award-winning author Libby Fischer Hellmann's 11th compulsively readable thriller. The others include the hard-boiled PI Georgia Davis series, and the amateur sleuth Ellie Foreman series, which Libby describes as "Desperate Housewives" meets "24." She has also published 3 stand-alone historical thrillers: SET THE NIGHT ON FIRE, A BITTER VEIL, and HAVANA LOST. Her short story collection, NICE GIRL DOES NOIR, was released in 2010. She has also written a cozy novella, THE LAST PAGE, and a police procedural, TOXICITY. She has been nominated twice for the Anthony Award, once for the Agatha, and has won the Lovey Award multiple times. She lives in Chicago and claims they'll take her out of there feet first. I LOVED IT!!! Poor Georgia has her hands full figuring out whose lying, whose telling the truth, and who is this "half-sister" she never knew about.
Can she get everything figured out in time? Her half-sister's life depends on it. It is a great thriller, with some ideas that probably isn't all that far fetched in today's medical field. This is the 4th book of Miss Hellmann's that I have read. I am looking forward to the next one as well.
